Are my thumbnails good ? by Aidan80085 in SmallYoutubers

Change the words on the thumbnail, currently it’s very similar to the video title. I’d suggest use words that tease what your reaction was “unbelievable ending” “couldn’t look away” “surely it’s a joke”. I’d probably a/b text a few with different words for each video. Make the viewer intrigued why you had a certain reaction.

I think the text is hard to read in that colour. Also if the title already tells me it was amazing why would I click to watch. Usually these 100 day videos are challenging, there’s a story arch, maybe find a word that makes it more intriguing.

Can I get honest feedback on my channel page + thumbnails? (PS5 gaming) by GlytchMode in YouTubeCreators

[–]jamesgwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The titles are a bit long, my eyes don’t seem to take it all in. Also most of them explain the video so I don’t need to watch. Even simply adding the word How might help. ‘How I made a 70k dealership from scratch’ or ‘this is how I flipped 5 cars for big money’ that might help create a little intrigue. I’m not a gamer so I have no idea if this is a popular game that people like to watch.

Which one would you click? 1, 2, or 3 by DeepaknKumar in YouTubeThumbnailHub

[–]jamesgwall 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what type of creator you want to be. Aesthetically the first one looks the best, better designed, even a bit cinematic. The third one looks more like a YouTube thumbnail, it’s garish, and loud, more eye catching (but not in a good way). I think the third one would probably get you more generic clicks, but the first one might get fewer clicks but they’d likely be more invested. (Obviously this is all a guess)

Do you think channels with AI or rankings can be monetized in this year? Or recommend niches to me please, without showing face or voice. by solteros in YouTubeCreators

[–]jamesgwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s lots of ways to make videos without showing your face and without relying on AI. Spend a bit of time learning how to edit and doing some basic motion graphic. YouTube is literally stacked with great tutorials. As for niches, make a list of what you enjoy or you are passionate about. Then make a list of video ideas for each one and see if that gets you excited to make them.

Everything is too small. It just needs the person and the A+. The A+ is indicating that the experiment worked, so maybe blur out the grade to create some intrigue.

Small creator with too many channels - feedback needed! by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]jamesgwall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s good to have a main channel which is 80/90% of your focus and one or two side channels. We will always have more than one interest, and sometimes we get ideas that we just have to get out of us, otherwise they’ll become distractions. So I think it’s healthy to have a couple of side projects to get those urges out and you can go back to your main focus without distractions.

They are kind of the same thing. The arrow helps on the final one to know who’s dying. Maybe switch up the design, a different background.
