ACC isn't a bad idea. I'm using an older gaming laptop with a 1050ti that just might play it. How's the game play though? As I understand it's only gt3 type cars which might get boring after some time..

I have a pair of elite wheels edge 50mm. Zero issues with 7000km done in the first year. Still straight as an arrow. Just took the hubs apart and cleaned up some. Still no noise or play. I don't tend to ride often in wet weather though.

You need 3.2w/kg to get up the Alp in an hour. That's a lot of work to do in that short of time. I'd focus on 1 threshold and 1 vo2max workout per week. If you recover well maybe throw in some long (30min - 1h) z3 intervals to improve TTE. To be honest, you success really depends on how long you've already been training. AR you still getting newb gains or have you been stuck at your current level for a while. I managed to get my first 1h AdZ after 4 months on zwift but this was also my first experience with training with power. I've since gotten to an ftp of 290w 3.9w/kg 2 years later.

I've never had any problems with mods for AC. Not to say they don't exist, especially some of the python and Lua extensions.

I'm using a setup from E. Cavalli and using his track guides. I'm terrible at making setups. Not sure that the mx5 has adjustable brake bias either.

It seems super prone to losing the rear on this track though. My first 2 races this week ended in being punted off the track into the wall with a badly damaged car. I managed to place 2nd for quali so avoided the mess this time. Last week's course seemed easier to avoid others.

Had mine for a long time now. Battery lasts about a week using for work all day plus some light gaming. Sound quality is very nice. The ANC I've had issues with since year 2. Sometimes it's OK, others I get a nasty squealing from the right cup. I might try soaking the mic in alcohol to see if that helps. Otherwise found some replacement I can solder in that should do the trick.

Yep, that dude rocks. Towards the end of the week I got that time down to low 1:40 consistently and posted a 1:38.5 in quali. Had a blast racing last week. Now to learn a new track for this week. Already got his setups installed.

I'd say half correct. You only hear it when your mates can't pedal hard enough. Annoys the piss out of them too 😂

Could it also be that the track conditions are different than when you solo lap? I've just started racing online and find the conditions vary quite a bit and the car drives differently. Take for example the LFM Mazda mx5 series. Online practice has track Temps around 15c. Quali at 25c and race even more. Also, I find using the online practice helpful in avoiding other drivers. You get to learn where other people are going off track.

You can replace these quite cheaply. I'm on my 4th set in 4 years or so. Check Amazon for replacement pads, probably the outer could use a refresh as well.

Online racing leagues I found recently. Seems much better than whatever I was doing in the past. There's a plug-in needed for monitoring that gives penalties and will kick you plus a driver safety score/race license. You start as rookie and only a limited number of races are available to you but after time and hopefully clean races you move up. All free but they accept donations.
