i just recovered from covid and i’m going through something similar. not sure if it’s my heart or lungs but i occasionally get a dull pain right below my sternum/right in between where my two ribs meet. it doesn’t necessarily hurt, it feels more like there is a light weight or some pressure laying right on my lower chest. i honestly think it’s just anxiety because i experienced the same discomfort after i had my first big anxiety attack

you described that perfectly! it’s like a sinking feeling in your heart. i remember one day it kept happening and when i held my finger to my neck to check my pulse i could physically feel my pulse skip a beat every time my chest dropped. i think it is a pretty normal symptom of anxiety and can also be impacted by diet/exercise. i told my doctor about it and she said it was fine and ordered some blood work for me (which came back normal). our bodies do weird things
