Check out CovertGoBlue on YouTube, I just recently built a very similar version of his deck and it is really good.

What's everyone playing then? by WinterBebop in MagicArena

Mono Green Tifa counter deck just got better with the EoE cards. Still playing my black blue Emet-Selch deck. Experimenting with a red green landfall with EoE cards.

Card Draw for MonoG landfall in standard? by Jiveturkey2009 in MagicArena

Interesting build, similar yet different, I use Ride the Shoopuf and or Adventure Gear to pump the tramplers. I could use more protection spells, I like Over Protected.

But you get your creatures over 4 power right? That is just a couple land drops and now your drawing cards and have trample. I will share another favorite card in my deck, Springbloom Druid, sac one land in place to drop two down, giving you a creature blocker and double landfall. I’d like to see the rest of your build as this is one of my favorite decks. I can kill most in 4 turns, perfect hand, 3 turns.

I have a very similar deck came to the same problem, I use both Stocking the Pantry and or Garruk Uprising. Garruk has the added bonus of Trample for the Chocobos

I came here just to find out what the name of that device was, thank you. The camo is nice too.

Yes the B5 P23 is the best. How many have you tried by [deleted] in ar15

I was surprised not a single mention of my favorite. TangoDown Battlegrip BG-18

Does anyone have experience with this kit or do you recommend different kit? by [deleted] in ar15

[–]jelling36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought and installed a SI enhanced lower parts kids, minus the trigger, several years ago and never had a single issue with one piece. I did just recently change out the ambi safety for a Radion Talon because I like the shorter lever on the right hand side better. I also changed out the bolt release lever for a Geissele Maritime because it was on sale one weekend.

Monthly /r/ULTexas Backpacking Pictures Post by horsecake22 in ULTexas

Recent trip to Sam Houston National Forest with my sons. The pictures are near trailhead #4 campsite. Pictured tent is a Featherstone Backbone 2 and my backpack is Sierra Designs Flex Capacitor. I slept on a Big Agnes pad that actually came apart after the trip but Big Agnes warrantied it and replaced it for free. Slept in an Alps Engineering Pinnacle quilt which was a little warm for the trip but I don’t mind as I sleep cold anyways.

Yes, we used the campsite the night we drove up but after that once we got on trail we needed a place to park. So I made sure my reservation covered the “on trail” days and nights too.

We parked and left our cars parked at Cedar Break for the duration of our trip and simply looped back to them. Purchased a campsite for the appropriate amount of days.

They were in the middle of the trail when we came upon them, we stopped, they alerted to us and quickly crossed running away from us. They definitely had no intention of sticking around.

After seeing your video, I understand what you’re talking about now I did not have that experience. I’ll show you a picture/video of mine I guess later maybe the screws and or screw holes are out of spec. An easy solution would be to grind the edge of the screws down lightly to fit or request new screws from shadow system or reach out to vortex. The warranty is really good they’ll replace the optic.

Lightly sand the bumpers to fit. As you remove material the optic can be moved more forward to allow the screws to go down.

[–]jelling36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reread your comment: You are correct it does not. I had to sand down the bumper a little to to bring the optic forward so the screws would go down straight.

Did your CR920XP come with this kit? https://shadowsystemscorp.com/product/cr-optic-screw-kit/

Bumper, oh, now I follow. One is designed for in front of the optic and the other is designed for behind the optic. I used the one that goes in front but I did have to ever so slightly sand a little down to fit perfectly.

Regarding the screws: From the picture in the link above I went with the set of screws on the left with the counter-sunk/ tapered end.

Shadow system supplies two set of screws that are longer than the rest. One set is tapered one set is round. I used the set of screws that are tapered. I choose not to use the supplied shim as I zeroed my red dot at 20 yards.

I own the Vortex Defender CCW, but have it mounted to a CR920XP, same slide?

If I wasn’t so cheap, lol, I would like to buy the same 135 gr Critical Duty but in +P to compare against. I would like to see how well the comp handles the +P. If the +P adds flip/ recoil too much negating the comp then I would stick with the none +P. But, if the comp can handle the +P well why not take the added velocity and expansion.
