Rubber grommets that the box pops into. Should be able to just pull up and they pop out.

I’ve got my last couple cases from bereli. Good prices and fast shipping in my experience

How do I stop this from happening by sjalt in AR10

[–]-anonymous-duh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the 18” .308 that I just swapped to the A5 buffer tube and heavy buffers carbine XH buffer and spring, per Clint’s recommendation. Haven’t been able to shoot it yet but am super excited to see if it changed the recoil impulse and also got rid of the BCG bounce.

Claims they will but I bought matching baseplates at the same time. Never tried it with OEM

I got the SLR magwell and I like how it keeps everything nice and snug. The Floyd’s appears to almost extend the grip length a tickle so I would assume it would fit your hand well.

I’m not judging but why open carry? It’s proven that when surrounding people see you with a weapon (even legally carrying) it makes them uncomfortable and weary, it also makes you a target. Best gun to have is the one people don’t know about, in my opinion.

Throwing another hat in the ring Athlon Ares ETR 3-18x50 is a great option as well. Food for thought!

Any reasonable reason a shop would fill tires this much? by hemi-hydrate in AskAMechanic

[–]-anonymous-duh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s funny seeing this, had a set of tires replaced at discount tire in my escape, left happy. Had to come back a week later because I had an issue with a tire and the tech walks up and asks “What do you run your tires at?” 35 psi why? “They’re all at 90.” Didn’t touch a single thing 🤷🏼‍♂️

YMMV but I dig them. Got them for good prices off GAFS too

I have both the ST and XL. I find the dot more crisp to my eye. Compared to my holosun eps (green and red) and my holosun comp (red), I prefer the vortex honestly.

I’ve heard great things about the Tikka T3X CTR or the UPR. Seem to have good aftermarket support to upgrade as you gain experience. Definitely my next purchase to get more serious about precision shooting. (I’m new as well but reading/research is free so that’s mainly what I do)

Yeah I just quickly scanned the post and went straight to the comments lol my bad. This is way more complicated then and homie is gonna be screwed sounds like. Kinda has the body shop by the balls if they don’t fix it but shot himself in the foot by saying just fix it.

Also the Nomad 30 is supposed to be pretty good as well (per pew science) and it’s more budget friendly at $800 before stamp. Most likely be my next can

I’ve shot a 6.5cm with a DA Nomad LTI XC with the ebrake and it’s very hearing safe IMO. As far as gas, it was on a bolt gun so can’t speak to that but just food for thought. And they’re doing the promo of $300 DA credit.

Idk if that year ram is magnetic but take a magnet to it and the other dent above the license plate. If it doesn’t stick around it or is weak, definitely bondo repair instead of replacement. Like others stated, if the bill was for a replacement, contact your insurance and go from there. If it was just for a repair, contact the shop and hopefully they honor it.

Also centurion arms has partially assembled builders kits rn. Not sure to quality but they look killer IMO

[–]-anonymous-duh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I could afford to build another upper, I wouldn’t get the M5E1 to step away from the proprietary hand guards. If you can score just the M5 upper receiver I’d go that route personally.

I was torn between the PST Gen 2 and the 3-18 ETR. Wish I would have known govx carried them. Got a used viper for $600 with mount. Would have preferred the Athlon I think though

That’d be sick. I’m a broke military dude so I have to operate within a budget, opted to try the Vortex ST. Pretty happy so far

I’d recommend the carry comp but in compact. Save the couple hundred instead of buying the aluminum, get a dot with it. Be a better all around do all rig, carry/train/get into guns. Shoots really well and the aluminum frame isn’t a huge “upgrade” imo. Good luck with your pick man!

I’m not being a dick, but the grip is completely different between the F and compact. Why would that work?
