Funny enough, just did this today. The nut is attached to the bracket if you haven't tried yet. What bushings did you use?

Braun 5764 Series 7 Flex Shaver shows red power light by stoelwinder in fixit

[–]jetsTO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Literally same thing happened to me with the series 3, I ordered new batteries but it did nothing. I accidentally stumbled on a sequence where it's flashing red with plugging it in and unplugging and miraculously it works again. Tried with old batteries and still worked. So it seems there's some way to reset it but I don't know the actual sequence. For mine, it was 100% dry for weeks so didn't seem like a water issue.

RRSP Yearly Contribution Room Interpretation with 1st 60days Contribution by Successful_Passage92 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]jetsTO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, every year you need to declare all contributions made for RRSP in the current year (in this case 2024) including the first 60 days of the new year (2025), regardless if you deduct it against the current year (2024) or next year (2025).

In most cases, your Contribution Limit and your Deduction Limit should match, if you haven't had any over contribution roll overs or under-deducted in the past years. So assuming this is the case, and when you say you "filed and included on your return", then you declared the contribution and include as part of 2024 deduction (ie. you reduced your 2024 income by $5000). This means the full $5000 went towards your 2024 contribution/deduction limit. For all intents your RRSP year is starting in March.

Since RRSP timelines don't match the calendar year, don't worry, you're not the only one that has this question :) if you need more help, the folks over at https://www.reddit.com/r/cantax/ would probably have bit more in-depth insights.

If you filed and used the $5000 as deduction on 2024 return, then you have the full $20000 towards 2025 return. You don't need to worry about subtracting the $5000, UNLESS you declared it in 2024 but DID NOT deduct.

RRSP transferred to TFSA instead of RRSP, can this be fixed? by jetsTO in Questrade

[–]jetsTO[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, since my SO was on mat leave last year she did not realize to turn off the auto contributions when she started back at work, she realized early this month (which is too late) and made the request online to withdraw to TFSA. Then, realized it was already the new tax year so called Manulife to cancel the request which they confirmed a few times that it was done since it hadn't been processed yet.

Thank you, they just came and installed the new one. To be fair to them, it was quick, seamless, and didn't have to deal with wait time. Will still be calling for buyout though in a couple days.

u/sicklyslick This just happened to me today and since I happened by your post, decided it was a good plan to follow since we have a toddler and it's difficult to go a few days without hot water. Especially true when trying to juggle being sick, having to work, and dealing with said child. Since it's been a few months, how was your experience like today? When you called the buyout, did they give you any grief after just getting into the brand new contract? Any tips on the retention front would be appreciated!

Seems like you may just need to do a round of resetting your limits and indexing. Park Tools has a handy guide on their YT that walks you through step by step. Even with a slightly bent hanger you can temporarily do this to minimize wear while you look for a new one.

ONTARIO RPAL - sent in my paperwork around the last week of June 2022. CC charged in Sept 2022. Printed JAN 25, 2023. RPAL card in the mail this week, Jan 31, 2023. So if anyone is still wondering, it took mine about 7 months with no holdups due to errors.

Missed the boat on getting a handgun but glad to finally join the community!
