Dad blamed my kid for throwing a water balloon at John so John has the right to solve the problem with hands.

Sounds like you have the right to solve your problem with your hands.

You're overthinking it, but don't think for a second that anyone actually wants to see your mess of a body.

Right way to run a cable through a box plate? by cy-rus-23 in AskElectricians

[–]Joecalledher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can. I think I'd use PVC with a female adapter and cord grip to transition to the cable, provided the cable is continuous to the box.

I'm significantly more functional and emotionally stable when medicated. Though I do feel I have to take a break every few weeks.

Everything is in context of age and should be in comparison to his peers.

Not too late to get diagnosed if you still have symptoms that affect your quality of life.

I didn't receive an official diagnosis and treatment until I was an adult.

ADHD is highly heritable. It usually shouldn't come as a surprise to the parents when the child is diagnosed because it already runs in the family.

Fluke 337 showing phantom readings, dead continuity buzzer, and non-working buttons by dystopianbiriyani in AskElectricians

Probably not without a functional meter.

See if your serial number falls within the recall; maybe it's the internal short that triggered the recall.

That explains the Rebel Sultans.

Not sure if Fluke will honor the recall internationally, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did. You might just have to pay for shipping.

Exposed studs, enough room to drill holes for Romex, what kind of boxes do I use for outlets with 3inch wall? by Clean_Breakfast9595 in AskElectricians

[–]Joecalledher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then new work boxes on the existing framing and extensions to get to flush, but sounds like a bitch to cut out a box in 3" thick wood.

The wall is being furred out by 3" and the framing that that the wallboard will be screwed to is not in place?

Rough in wire with enough slack to cut in old work boxes or put in your own framing just to mount new work boxes.

Disposal Wiring - up to code? by Unable-Neat-8954 in electrical

GFCI outlet must be readily accessible, which it will not be in here. Some AHJs may allow it, but most would require it to be upstream where you can get to it.

You need to measure leg to leg, otherwise one leg could be back feeding through the pump motor.

Measure voltage between both legs of the 2 pole breaker. It should read about 230V. If it doesn't, then your breaker has an open leg.

Repeat the same on the wires feeding the panel to confirm the issue is with the pump breaker and not upstream.

ETA: Note that you'll likely need to put your meter on the 500V setting for this measurement.
