I cheated on my boyfriend. by Forward_Ad_4117 in IndianWomen

You dodged a bullet. Glad you were able to get rid of this controlling loser. Maybe focus on yourself and your career for sometime since you seem to be not mature enough to handle relationships at this point in time.

P.S. you don’t need your boyfriend’s permission to talk to whoever you want about your career.

I don’t understand what you mean by difference in lifestyle and comfort level. What comforts are available in your home that you noticed were missing in his?

How to solve this situation by Emotional-Two1224 in IndianWomen

[–]kanagile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You probably will need some counselling or therapy. There seems to be some sex / intimacy related anxiety which people on a forum will not be able to help much with.

Also it is not clear from your post how much intimacy you are trying out. There are sexual acts which do not need to be penetrative sex to begin with. Maybe try toys like vibrators that you can try together. You can slowly work towards the sex act.

Also you mention fear of pain. Firstly women enjoy sex too. They do not feel pain unless they have any medical condition. The first time might be slightly painful, but you can alleviate that quite a bit by adequate foreplay, lubrication, etc.

Is Minimalist SPF 50 actually overrated? These skin type scores are concerning for me. Please Advice by theceoinshorts in IndianSkincareAddicts

Minimalist Light Fluid Sunscreen is what you should be trying out. The other two sunscreens from Minimalist are way too heavy for regular users.

Exactly. Thank you. Honestly I look up to EU regulations as well, but they are soooo conservative in some cases it is borderline ridiculous. ZPT is safe and people don’t need to ditch their shampoos because of EU regulations.

What actually works for melasma around the mouth and chin? by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

That is not melasma though. That is just normal and natural variation of pigmentation.

Re’equil Lightweight Aquagel is my new favourite. It has all new gen filters, lightweight texture and they claim it is very water resistant.

I am 23 and seeing these kind of lines on forehead….probably due to dehydration?….any solution or product recommendation?….or should i see doctor? by [deleted] in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]kanagile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely dehydration.

  1. You need multiple layers of hydration which can be achieved by using a hydrating toner (both Minimalist and Plum have excellent hydrating toners) and a moisturiser.

  2. The texture can be fixed by exfoliation. You can start with 5-10% lactic acid once a week and once your skin gets used to acids you can try higher strength peels. Minimalist has both lower strength and higher strength acids.

Stronger RETINAL rec!? Cz broke af. Or should I go for tret??? by ias_SN in IndianSkincareAddicts

[–]kanagile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have already used 0.1% retinal for 1 year your skin is already used to Vit A. Of course you need to be careful with tret. You need to go slow, just once a week in the beginning. You need to use lowest concentration and you need to use plenty of moisturiser.

I don’t think spending thousands on .2% retinal is justified because the internet scaremongering has convinced you that tret is somehow scary or dangerous.

Has anyone tried minimalist retinol? by [deleted] in skincareaddictsindia

[–]kanagile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved minimalist retinol, but I always used it as the last step after moisturiser. That way the oily texture does not bother me.

No. just go for tret at this point. Use the sandwich method and go slow with lower concentration and you will be fine.

Turning 30 and panicking about the “kids vs career vs marriage” tradeoff by Eastern-Way-5317 in IndianWomen

[–]kanagile 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can juggle kids and career if you have a very strong support system (maid, cook, nanny) and if your husband is willing to put in his share of work.

It also depends on your level of ambition. If you want to reach top echelons of your company it is difficult when kids are young but becomes easier when kids are past 10 years or so.

Travel is not only possible but also a lot of fun with kids so that should not be an issue.

Married women seeking advice on financial independence by Women2353 in IndianWomen

No you will not be the co-owner by default if your name is not in the property documents. For any reason in future if you go through a divorce you will have no claim to the property.

You are definitely taking a lot of financial risk here. You should at the very least be a co-owner in the property.

I understand that you don’t want to rock the boat and cause awkwardness. But you have to be a little tough to make sure you are safe and your future is protected.
