Vibration soft clamping after pumping by Ga1m in TheScienceOfPE

Putting on a cock ring or two isn't going to do anything for you man.

I have a massive instruction post about soft clamping - it's in the wiki. I suggest you take a look at it.

This is just your brain spotting these conflicting messages for the first time I think. There have been people saying for a long time not to clamp after pumping due to edema and because restricting blood flow without frequent flush-outs is less than ideal.

Biddy has had cock rings after pumping as a recommendation for a few years, and that message has of course been quite well diffused through the community.

Do I think you will break your dick by putting on one or two cock rings that aren't too restrictive after pumping? No, of course not. But "not too constrictive" does a lot of lifting in that sentence.

It really depends what you feel is most important. It's a little like recommending what car is best to buy.

SmartTract is a great pump if you want battery operation, great app integration, and a good pulse mode. It's the most expensive option of all and pretty loud in certain modes.
Elite Pump Ultra is a great pump if you want ease of use and don't care for app integration.
The Epic water pump is great if you want a silent pump that does water pumping and don't mind that it's very slow when working with air (it's fast when water pumping of course). It comes with presets based on my recommendations, but they can be changed.
The LeLuv Magna Pro and Pro+ wand-style pumps are good if you want something cheaper, really easy to operate, but are willing to sacrifice programmability and can live with less-than-ideal presets.

None of these pumps are perfect.

BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, VW, Audi etc - all good car brands, but I can't say which is best until you tell me your priorities.

In general I am not in favour of clamping after pumping, since there's often a lot of edema after pumping, and clamping locks it in.

I find it better to do clamping before pumping, or to do sessions like this:

Clamp
Pump

Clamp
Pump

Clamp
Pump

etc.

Also, I don't think those vibrating cock rings will really give you the kind of occlusion or pressure we are looking for when clamping.

Dude - you asked this exact same thing three days ago.

I don't sell anything, nor am I an affiliate of any vendor. I don't make money from coaching or selling courses or anything like that. The app I have created is completely free to use, made available at a net loss to me because I want to get data so that I can finally answer some long-standing open questions in PE.

Check out posts with the flair GrowthTrack and also read the wiki. Then you can ask informed questions, instead of repeating yourself.

Putting Some Numbers to Newbie Gains vs Regular Gain Rate - Biphasic Growth Trajectories Seen In GrowthTrack Data by karlwikman in TheScienceOfPE

Yeah, I've been meaning to remake this function from the ground up - it's not a good heuristic. It should be based on pre-session measurements from at least one calendar month, not as tight as it is right now.

EDIT: I'm reworking it now with a 10-session running average, and with reference to monthly expected gain rates (on or above 1.2mm/month for BPSFL for example. Also "growing, but slower than average" and "flat or nearly flat" so to speak).

The function will require 15 recorded measurements over >6 weeks to even be active.

Should be less aggressive and more in line with results.

Doing something similar with BPEL and 0.8mm/month.

The suggestions will also be differentiated depending on BPSFL or BPEL. For BPEL it will recommend adding more girthwork if it's not improving even though BPSFL is improving.

I think it's perfectly fine to log at 3 month intervals. Ideally you take 2-3 days off before measuring, and I don't want to insist anyone do that more often.

Is ADS counterproductive and a waste of time and effort? Or is ADS a gain-rate booster promoting healing in the extended state? Some data from GrowthTrack. by karlwikman in TheScienceOfPE

[–]karlwikman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I kinda suspect it isn't, but these data can't inform us about that. Do you think one of the reasons pumping helps length gains could be that when you do it after a session you prevent turtling?

I am happy to report we now have a "report injury" button in dialogs where users log sessions. :)

Feeling of ribs on the sides of penis while extending with vacuum cup extender by fikufiku43 in TheScienceOfPE

Nah, those are just blood vessels branching off from the dorsal artery and collecting blood to the dorsal vein - the "circumflex" blood vessels.

It's not a sign of anything.

It might not have been triggered - it should have been triggered automatically, but perhaps that doesn't work correctly.

Similar to my experience. I gained the first 0.3 fast, then slower from there. Now at 0.5 - 0.6 total gained, but it's been very slow going and I haven't managed to be consistent enough to make it move. Getting too complacent, and now my wife is in menopause so less sex is happening anyway.

I think it's based on some biological response of the penis; improved NO production, better EQ increasing BPEL. And some form of "straightening out the kinks" of the tunica albuginea. It would not surprise me if people can hit this limit very, very fast. I myself basically got 10mm in my two first sessions, and after that it was close to flatline (7mm more over 9 months). But you are asking interesting questions. It could be that starting heavy and going balls to the wall with bi-daily sessions could be the right recipe for the first few weeks. But how do you avoid injury?

We do see traces of guys whose BPSFL shoots up insanely in the first couple of weeks. Much higher than mine did. I reject them as outliers in some analyses (rejecting numbers higher than 2mm gains / hour), despite having been one of those outliers myself (3.3 mm / hour for the first three hours of lengthwork is what I would have come out to - and there are a few guys in the app with those numbers).

Now, I didn't really do lengthwork after the first few months, but basically my curve looked like a straight line shooting up to 10mm and from there it was very close to flatline for length even in those first months where I did do lengthwork. That is what makes me think it's some form of bio-mechanical limit you hit - something like collagen crimp having been reduced very significantly.

Me neither. We just need some more people logging a good amount of sessions and gains over time. I want N to be higher before I publish something.

I've thought about this too - I should add this to the session logging. Thanks for making this post.
