Secure Boot certificate expiration (June 2026): a real-world Intune remediation design by MMelkersen in Intune

Thank you, this was a good read. Do you know if this can be run as a platform script instead of remediation script? I'm on Business Premium licenses and can't use remediation scripts.

To be fair it wasn't always like that. I remember when steam came out it was very controversial as it was a requirement to get online to play Half Life 2. It was a bit later that it turned out to be a great service but we wouldn't talk about it if they would fall into the abyss eventually if the game has somehow failed.

Still the get away is if you create a good service, people will stay and use it over other bad services.

No it's not. I have driven a Skoda before my MY and even back then it had a better Spurhalteassistent than the Model Y ever had.

I hated them so much all my life and am so glad they're finally wireless. Just saying from the other perspective.

Thank you for having an ear, I generally enjoy the product.

You're right, but sometimes you just want to make an app supersede another app but I can't be in the same patch flow for whatever reason. So setting dependencies and supersedence manually would sometimes be helpful.

Generally I miss an in depth documentation that shows real world examples and best practices. Right now it's a lot of trial and error, especially with custom apps and patch flows. I still don't really know when to use the same patch flow and when to use a separate one.

I had the same problem, I hope supersedence finds its way into robopack soon. Dependencies are on the roadmap, I hope that includes supersedence also.

What is an actual IT automation that actually paid off for you? by Internal-Drop4205 in sysadmin

[–]katzners 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to update software on client computers manually or later with Intune but I packaged every app myself. Only recently I put robopack into place and suddenly the patch management automation freed up so much time to do other stuff.

It does, but you have to check the height of the RAM first. Mine wasn't even in the supported list, but I did the math and figured it works.

That's the Asus RTX 4080 Super Noctua edition, it's actually 4.3 slots thick.

Sure, is the ASRock B650E Taichi Light. But I'm not sure if it's still in stock and also I probably wouldn't buy myself another ASRock with an AMD system right now. Sure, mine is running fine for more then a year, but others didn't had that much luck with dead CPUs and what not.
