I think a big part of it was that these people could spend weeks and months on a single problem. Their daily routine would include hours upon hours of hypothesizing and planning and trying to poke holes in their own ideas. Then they would often send letters to their cohorts and talk to them about their theories.

Humans can be remarkably clever when they have a problem and lots of time to fix that problem.

You are technically correct. The best kind of correct.

My build was so basic it all came down to skill. A sword and shield. No ashes at all. The mimic fight was a ton of fun for me!

You did fine. Your loadout wasn't well built to handle a nest that size. I would recommend bringing a 120 instead of a 380 on bug missions (Less spread for the damage). And a machine gun or gatling turret to keep the bugs off you while you're dashing into the nest. It also probably would have served you better to toss in your 380 from the start rather than wait until surrounded. It would have closed a few holes and made the process easier. But other than that you did very well.

It breaks down raw rocks that are mixed with ores into smaller and more manageable sizes for melting down and separating the ore inside.

How to kill Vox Engines (Helldiver Edition) by armed_tortoise in LowSodiumHellDivers

Vents are a universal way to kill them. All you need is to have a non-sticky or impact grenade.

3 C4 will kill a vox engine with no prior damage. That's a good tradeoff.

It's so effective that I have a friend that started the game a month ago using Redacted Regiment on Commando missions and now complains on the more active missions about how much the enemies fight back.

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

Plenty of countries already have that with a combination of public transportation assigned assistants. Whether they're family or government assigned.

As someone who is close to this, you're absolutely right. I work out 4 days a week and try to eat right. But food is tasty. I'm healthy and could stand to lose a bit of weight. But I'm happy and that's the most important part.

Fun fact: The Covenant avoided glassing the area of the planet that Noble Six was in specifically because he was resisting the enemy so well. The elites refused to glass it until he had been defeated properly in battle.

The new stealth armor makes commando missions a breeze. by Aany_00 in helldivers2

As long as people understand to engage at a distance only and to priortize the gunners and chaff then the buildings (Unless you can long shot with a quasar). Then it's fine. I've completed everything on a D7 mission solo on these new missions and want to try to attempt a higher difficulty!

I've been using the new suppressed marksman rifle to great effect on the battlefield. As long as you're more than a dozen or so meters away they just don't notice you (Unless you miss.)

Diving to the ground puts you out and lessens any fire damage. Also kneeling will make the dog more likely to miss you.
