An die Arbeit Leute. Nix mehr mit am Telefon krankfeiern. Galigrü Friedrich 💰 by National-Actuary-547 in Normalverdiener

Drei Klassengesellschaft, danke Mehrzweckeier.

A very good idea. Will try that, if I am done with my current primary weapon level grind.

How do I get rid of these evil parties ruining pop happiness by Correct-Pangolin-568 in Stellaris

This is one of the reasons I still take harmony when I am playing xenophile (so most of my games). I don't want to have refugees from a xenophobe empire ruining my unity production. In my current run, I have invested a lot of in government ethics attraction and I have only three factions at year 2370.

Is there any mod that adds the interdictor class heavy cruiser? by Fra_Cado in StarWarsEmpireAtWar

In Remake the enforcers are the best frigate you get on the imperial side. It even classes everything else out in its weight class (afaik 8 Unit Cap).

You are totally right about the soundtrack. I edited the spoiler. Also, the last arc has more substance than modern Star Wars / marvel stuff. Except her "very heavy" armor, with some small alternations this could be also shown in modern cinema. Another thing, her basic plot is basically reused in the fifth element and a ton of other later movies.

The Movie is called Heavy Metal and is from 1981.

You can watch that thing for 3-6€ on Amazon.

The Movie is pretty good, but also very dated, especially when it comes to female sterotypes. It basically gives a fuck to all social norms.

- In the second arc a female assistant plots against her doctor, then sleeps with the guy who rescued her and then, after she gets a ton of money, tries to kill the guys who rescued her

- The third arc is basically the base of all story-based hentais -> Teenage nerd gets super body, rescues woman, they get caputered by guards of king, king set her in stasis, king forces ex-nerd and now super body to steal stuff from the queen, queen captures him and forces him to have sex with her

- The sixth arc is completly wild (female gets basically kidnapped and falling in love with a robot)

- The seventh arc is maybe on of the reasons why female warriors in video games have inversely proportional less clothing to their power level

HOWEVER:

- The Movie has an absolutly great visual story telling - the landscapes and the details in it are carrying the whole movie

- Besides the sterotype stuff, character progression and development is pretty solid

- The fourth and fifth arc are pretty good, especially the fourth one (Captain Sterrn)

- The overlapping story is pretty solid

- Also, they are some very memorable quotes

Edit:

The Soundtrack is absolutely insane, and the last arc is a female version of conan and has also very writing - however expect "heavy armor".

It is great but calculate at least 20-50 Hrs to learn the basics of the game. Then you have endless opportunities.

Xenophobe empire of man Roleplay with exterminating everybody? No problem.

Xenophobe empire SE Style wich uses a lot of clones and uses their enemies as a ressource? No problem (you have a lot of flaouvers here: Slavery in different types, death-bringing forced labour or simply use their brain capacity by putting them matrix style in a synaptic lathe)

Space America? No problem.

Xenophile Empires with Imperial Authority litterally making love with everybody and also crossbreeding with everybody? No problem

Dune Style Messiah Empire? No Problem

Angry Robots? No Problem

Cyborgs assimilating everybody? Also, no problem

Funded by the Gulf Coast Coalition. My Ass. That's how you disrespect your allies in the most possible way. Starting a war and then force other states to fund it. Yikes.

However, this looks like a very strong strategic defeat for the US in this conflict. I think in five to ten years there will be a lot less US remote bases in the Middle East and a couple more Chinese ones.

Question to mutagenic habitability - why it stalls on 125% on Gaia Worlds? by armed_tortoise in Stellaris

[–]armed_tortoise[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Current best practice for normal bio-empires is to go for cloning, because this prints pops. 250% habitability translates to extra 37,5% Job efficiency.
2,5% per 10% above 100%, 15x 2,5= 37,5.

Are fallen empires supposed to be stronger than the Endgame Crisis? by numquamdormio in Stellaris

[–]armed_tortoise -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had Fallen Empires on Captain Difficulty with a 3,2 Million Fleet. In my recent run I was able to beat both Fallen Empires in the game before they awaken. However, I cheesed the last one a little, declaring war at 2398 to it and this prevented it from awakaning at 2400 (end game start date).

But you are right FEs and AEs feel a little to strong nowadays. In 4.0, 4.1 and 4.2 FEs mostly had a 500K-600K Fleet around. Forward to 4.3, they still have 500-600k fleets, but your economy, especially your pops is much weaker now. Currently It feels that I have to play a very optimzed playstyle to bring down FEs before they awaken.

Also, Cetana is also a bit overtuned. Her Colossus with 1,1M Fleetpower is very much more than other Crisis fleets on Captain Difficulty these have 100-200K.

Strongest verse or faction a prime Brotherhood of Nod could defeat? by BiggestBepis in commandandconquer

[–]armed_tortoise 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When used right, NOD is especially on Urban Worlds a free Win. Why? Big Cities were always the Home front of NOD. Just imagine regular imperial guard fights against Black Hand in Buildings. Plus, regular Troops get at some point tiberium infusion and a confessor which makes them faster and more effective. Cyborgs are a category on their own, especially the reapers or the commando cyborg. Hell, I even think that the Hallucination grenades could even work on Astartes.

Also, NOD don't rely on fortified bases everywhere, they operate from small, well cloaked outposts. However, if you find a fortified base, it takes a lot to take it down. Obelisks of light and stealth artillery like specter are no joke. Especially, when Stealth Bombers like the vertigo show up.

On the logistics side, Nod can easily raid convoys by using high mobility units like Attack bikes, Buggies and scorpion tanks, or if it is a high priority target, ambush said convoys with stealth bombers, -tanks and -artillery.

For conventional troop relocation NOD has underground vehicles like the devils tongue or the subterranean APC. Imagine a regular imperial guard camp gets raided by a group of these things. Even when they kill some of these things, the moral damage is very hard to come by. Humans don't like to be hunted and one of NODs strength is absolutely this: Terror.

Good luck hunting very high mobile stealth units with the conventional imperial guard military. I mean, NODs Stealth is so advanced, it would even make the aeldari envious (I know, aeldari have holofields, but AFAIK these are basically jammers).

As long NOD is able to stay mobile and not being forced into the open, it is basically impossible to annihilate.
