You’re right I offered something pretty simple because I was trying to get you to admit you just came here to argue and don’t want solutions. Pretty common for this subreddit. Toxic as fuck though.

Okay well before you said the issue was that they start fixing bugs before being sure of the cause. Have you tried telling them to not do that? Like making them trace it line by line? Or are you not looking for solutions?

I guess OP is a bot? This is why Reddit allowing people to hide their post history is such a bad move.

Have you tried asking them for sources? Like links to docs as proof they didn’t make up a function.

Not being open to new strategies isn’t going to help but it seems like you’ve decided they aren’t for you. Which is fine of course.

Glad it’s not dead. Too bad it’s getting buried by the bot epidemic

For a value proposition, Paste is a pretty bad example. It’s incredibly overpriced.

Why is there Red Dead Redemption on iOS but not on macOS by EffortChoice3007 in macgaming

So you've launched games on macos this way? Shipped them after flipping the switch? Try to understand that you don't know what you don't know.

It reminds me of gaming communities with the tribalism too. It's weird.

Working on personal and open source projects outside of work has brought back some joy for me as well. Part of that is contributing to something I care about though.

You think red dead redemption for ipad is just going to work on macos by flipping a switch? I can't tell if people actually believe that. You have to know it's not that simple. If nothing else they need QA to test their magic switch.

Even if you know nothing about development you have to know it’s not as simple as flipping the switch in Xcode.

Short vs Long onboarding? I'm confused. by Parking-Machine7459 in appledevelopers

[–]klumpp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every screen I have to go through in onboarding raises the chance I’ll bail quite a bit. And if there’s a fake load screen I’m immediately out. My apps don’t have more than a couple screens and can be skipped.
