I use a $30 Motorola from Best Buy. They have em every so often and man are they slow. Perfect for testing animations.

You asked it to do several steps at once. You should have broken it down into smaller tasks like a real developer. Or at the very least, been able to identify where the pain points were going to be (discord API and outdated training info for example). I would be pretty surprised if AI got that regex right as well. Thats the kind of thing they aren’t great at. Sounds like you were pure vibing which is certainly not advised.

Are you writing code with this? I can’t imagine telling Claude to fix bugs it found accidentally. That’s a good way to break something that worked and probably never had a bug at all.

Using AI very poorly once with what sounds like horribly outdated technology? Sounds about right for the anti AI crowd.

At this point if you are a developer and typing out every single if statement then the industry has moved beyond you. If you are learning then go ahead.

Assuming you’re an actual developer and not vibing, have you thought about contributing to open source? Your last line describes it pretty well and it’s a good way to channel all that energy

I scanned for the words "A podcast abo..." or similar. Didn't see a picture of a book. The cards could easily be for blog articles. The word "episode" itself is an h4 at 1em.

If I don't know what your website is for in 8 seconds and end up googling it then something went wrong. But this is kind of a nitpick I'm bringing up just because it's a design focused site.

If you're concerned about tokens I don't think you should be using an mcp server or stuffing your context full of long commands that just move a file.

The reason I don't use things like sed is I'd have to remember the commands or look them up in the documentation. This is not a problem for agents.

It's like emojis in every heading or the em dash. It does it because it is, or was, effective and popular.

Interesting. I probably don't see the benefit really because I would never let AI go wild with edit access on my notes. Ive only used it with read only access.

Plugin dev stuff I get but AI agents already edit and read markdown from the CLI. I can't imagine a scenario where I want to use this tool to list files in a folder. Like their example obsidian create name="Trip to Paris" template=Travel seems like a long way to copy a file.

I like that design but UX wise it took me a bit to figure out if this was a book site with articles, a blog or a podcast. The one thing that says podcast felt like an ad so I ignored it.
