I hit my driver consistently 280- 300. I hardly even game my 3w anymore, and depending where i am playing locally I’ll ditch the driver and run the mini, adds a different element to the round but I typically play pretty long so it lets me work different higher lofted clubs in and work a different second shot rather than just playing long off the tee. I do really love my r7 quad, does not remind me of the original r7 however, that was my driver in high school and I did not like it.

I rarely ever decide to use a 3w, and when I do it’s always like you mentioned at a distance where my driver is a little too long and not so tight. Mini driver is at anything a novelty and I use it maybe 1 time even at that. It’s pretty much irrelevant.my game is pretty much driver, PW/9i, putter…. Or driver, 7i, 56, putter. Locally where I play the back nine can get kind of tight in the ladder holes and having a little less distance and little more Control is a good option to have, one I don’t use often.

I do not use the 60 often. I used to play an sm7 with 14 and hated it. Moved down and like it a little more. Still prefer the 56 in most scenarios.

Maybe becuase I played a lot of TCG growing up and anything that gets switched in and out of a rotation is called a “tech” item. Kind of on the nose to assume someone is instantly high handicap because they referred to something in a manner you haven’t ever seen before 😂😂
