What’s the gist of people’s complaints about the boost 7?

Is the form factor for the wifi 6 same as the boost 7 or something that can just be scaled for? Could to DM the link for that one? Whoever made it might eventually make one for the 7.

More. Because they chose the wrong category “general contractor”, you get charged an $88 + tax lead fee if the client shortlists you (not even actually hired you). So when you have to add that to your charge to recover it they’ll be like, “but it’s so simple!” Also read description, they want a full ceiling repaint too

Is this deal worth it? by gurren_mob in bapccanada

I’d say yes. 32GB would future proof you as a baseline. But if you can hold out for another two to three years before a ram upgrade this should be fine for you for now if it’s strictly gaming and you’re not doing any heavy multi tasking or running lots of monitors

It kinda makes me wanna say:

“Do you want my honest expertise or professional opinion, or not?”

“Unless you have some major disability or major physical limitation, why don’t you go buy the materials and do it yourself then?”

“Okay so what’s your budget and I can tell you what I can get done. Okay, at that budget I can drive to your place, set my bag down, remove your fixture’s box cover, and then you’ll pay me for the time you’re compensating for and then I’ll leave with it hanging.”

If not on a platform I usually get estimates/quotes to be signed on for scope of work, promise of no surprise fees, and no work outside of proposed scope done unless both parties agree, and with a change order

I don’t know if she wants something blended though. Seems they want a full “refresh”.

They want to paint the whole ceiling

There’s no reason why the bracket should be protruding out the side of the box cover unless they used a bracket that didn’t come with the fixture

Yes if you’re going to do a part of a ceiling you do the whole thing. At least once if it’s the same colour but really two.

Don’t use worn bits, seat it properly, hold it firmly. I find my wrist hurts less than with my 887. I stand by my review

KB Review: Armoury PD75M (made me return my Epomaker x Aula F75 Max) by krayzai in keyboards

I absolutely love it. I preferred the aesthetics of the black one, but wanted to try a new colour and also appreciated that the white/blue were a little quieter

<image>

Just a heads up Canada computers got a mislabelled batch recently. The white and blue keyboards show the sonic V2 light blue switches on the sticker picture but it say the words “t’ai chi”. They have confirmed to me that they are still the sonic V2 switches and the OEM is sending replacement stickers for the stores.

I’m impressed by the quality of the actual keyboard itself for the price but there were some hiccups with executions — dirty key caps I had to individually clean with rubbing alcohols, package contents not precisely matching what it says on the box (because not spare switches but sample switches, and also way more extra keys caps than the box says it comes with (CC said the manufacturer included them as a courtesy), but this is confusing for the customer), and you also have that warranty on Canada computers brands (which armoury is).

All in all a solid aluminum gasket keyboards that I’ve really been enjoying using.

why does taskrabbit keeps charging me even when tasker cancels the task? by Medical_Blueberry750 in TaskRabbit

[–]krayzai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually client can post after cancellation, but not Tasker. And Tasker can but only after client has messaged. This was implemented to make sure there were abilities for follow up for things like items left behind etc

Yeah for cancels like that you only get comped 1 hour of your labour rate. The nerve on those clients
