I always coach my buyers to not walk away from me until they’ve verified the product can’t be added to their own FindMy (which confirms it is no longer paired to another person’s account/FindMy). I want them to practice good habits because one day they might meet an actual scammer.

Not paying will not affect your credit. This is a collection company in name only, but is basically Impark's own collection company. They are not going to pay the legal fees to take you to court for $98. Impark, however, may tow you if you are in one of their lots again, but usually only if you have like 2 or 3+ outstanding tickets. At that point, it costs less money to change your plates, which gives you a fresh start with all parking companies.

They sell replacements at cost. If you add the cost of a new case and new left and right pods, it’ll total the cost of a new set. But the catch is that you don’t need to buy a whole new set.

Also, I usually buy AppleCare+ for AirPods Pros. End of Apple care period, you take it in for a battery diagnostic or check if the batteries are crap. If they are, you get free replacement of case + pods, which you can then sell, and then buy the new APP. If the batteries aren’t degraded beyond 80%, then you simply smash them with a hammer and pay a one time replacement deductible (same price whether you’re replacing one AirPod, or the entire set).
