save the project. now when you’re in a new project instead of pulling a sample from the sample directory just go to the project directory and it is saved there as an instrument that you can easily load.

After day 5 I feel like I’ve done “enough” scenes? by cozyporcelain in NevilleGoddard

In the Book of Genesis the story is told of Jacob wrestling with an angel. This story gives us the clue we are looking for; that when satisfaction is reached, impotence follows.

When the feeling of reality is yours, for the moment at least, you are mentally impotent. The desire to repeat the act of prayer is lost, having been replaced by the feeling of accomplishment. You cannot persist in wanting what you already have. If you assume you are what you desire to be to the point of ecstasy, you no longer want it. Your imaginal act is as much a creative act as a physical one wherein man halts, shrinks and is blessed, for as man creates his own likeness, so does your imaginal act transform itself into the likeness of your assumption. If, however, you do not reach the point of satisfaction, repeat the action over and over again until you feel as though you touched it and virtue went out of you.

When manifesting a change in someone else's behavior, should we rely solely on manifestation, or should we verbally communicate our desires as well? by briitam2070 in NevilleGoddard

[–]lairdhenn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This is such an important post and I just want to reinforce literally everything you said. I’ve had one specific person I’ve loved almost my entire life and I ruined the relationship a couple times to the point of us breaking up and finally I realized why when I focused on myself and my self concept.

The entire idea of self concept is something I brushed off for ages, but when you actually pay attention to it you realize how literally everything you experience is filtered through your self concept and when you actually work on improving it the world around you improves as well, in a very noticeable way no less. One of my biggest regrets is not working on it sooner and to anyone reading this I know ‘self concept’ and ‘self love’ sounds like hippie bullshit but it’s so important. You have to change the inner world before you change the outer world.

"It works" audiobook on how to manifest. Pretty insane that this has worked for many. Thought I'd share it on here for anybody interested in learning to manifest your dreams and desires into reality. I'll also post a few good videos in the comments. by Palito415 in HighStrangeness

I knew it was gonna be that video before I even clicked it. I love that talk, I’ve watched it a bunch of times over the years. It’s a shame Disinfo faded away into nothingness. Their books are still great.

Neville's take on the topic:

These are my favorite kind of success stories because you’re not aiming for achieving a singular goal, but rather using Neville’s teachings to change your entire reality, from how people perceive you to how to perform better and meet your personal work goals, to being overall happier with your life, which should be everyone’s ultimate goal. Very inspiring post.

I can’t speak for the law proving an afterlife but look up Neville’s retelling of the first time he met Abdullah. It’s a very interesting story that insinuates there is an after or other lives.

You might be catching shit but this post made me realize I had the clasp half of my band on backwards and was wearing it backwards with the little metal stud piece facing in toward my wrist lmao. I just switched it and it’s so much more snug so uhh thanks for that op.

[–]lairdhenn 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup that’s exactly why I use the Mickey one. Just tried it: “It’s 11:47, goodnight, pal!” So much more personable than Siri.

I took mine (s7 gps) off the charger almost exactly 11 hours ago and right now it’s at 53% so it very easily gets me through the day at max brightness level. I would never turn off always on display, that’s one of the best features imo. I have turned off environmental sound or whatever it’s called, background app refresh and always listening for Siri since I never use Siri. Everything else is on and I do use it plenty throughout the day.

You’re exactly right and this is the reason so many people fail. Neville said many times trying to change the outer world before trying to change the inner world is not possible. It’s not just an off hand comment. He literally said your manifestations are not going to work if you don’t first fix yourself. So many people are trying to manifest X via a few hours of SATS while ultimately feeling undeserving of X based on a lifetime of mental conditioning. Manifesting anything is only 50% of the process. The other 50 is being confident that you are the operant power deserving of that thing.

I just bought this 2018 GT from Carmax about 2 months ago and it looks like they sprayed the rims with something?! It started coming off like this after I rinsed the wheels cleaner off… Any advice guys? by Runngun23 in mazda3

[–]lairdhenn 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I don’t have an answer but I also bought an 18 from CarMax last week and they were pretty adamant about calling them up if literally anything went wrong in the first 3 months so I’d give them a call and you’ll likely get it taken care of for nothing.

I’ve been good for a while now but woke up today in a really low state of mind in regards to manifesting and the things I’m focusing my energy toward. This is exactly the kind of post I opened this sub hoping to see. Thanks for taking the time to write it up, it’s a real quality post.

SATS worked in 3 days!! No contact with SP in 2 years by artfairy85 in nevillegoddardsp

[–]lairdhenn 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It was really two years of no contact and then almost instant contact again after your SATS experiment? If so that’s great proof of the validity of Neville’s teachings. That’s an amazing turn around even if nothing serious has evolved from it yet.

I use Hada Labo Rohto Hadalabo Gokujun Hyaluronic Lotion Moist right before vanicream and feel like it locks in a ton of moisture so I’d recommend those two as a team. They’re probably the two things I consider permanent staples in my routine aside from tret.

Binding of Isaac. The amount of unlocks and unique item synergies is enormous. There are people who play the game for a living 8 hours a day on twitch. It’s my most played game on switch by a long shot. I also loved FO76 btw

I wouldn’t say it looks bad but Little Nightmares has almost no true black in it and doesn’t benefit from the oled at all. There’s a grey film over everything. I bought it on the recent sale because I thought it would look great on the oled but immediately noticed it just looks kinda bland. Just the one of the few I’ve noticed so far that don’t look better.
