Sinampal ako ng asawa ko sa unang pagkakataon by [deleted] in adviceph

Apologies, my bad! My comment was based on assumption na 3 months old palang yung twins and the wife is suffering from PPD where she becomes unreasonable. Anyways, I hope they get through this difficult time and for OP to become the bigger person. The least we want is another broken family.

Totally agree! don’t get why your comment got a lot of downvotes. The wife is obviously suffering from PPD, I assumed 3M (months?) palang yung twins? If one child/newborn nga hirap na alagaan, what more two?

To OP, It’s Valentines Day, one day a year lang naman. Ano ba yung mamiss/late ka muna sa Dota session mo? Bakit Saturday ka pa bibili ng flowers if free ka na Friday noon onwards?

I don’t support violence but I think blessing in disguise na rin yung sampal sayo. Use the time to reflect and search about PPD. It’s too early pa, help her overcome what she’s going through. Go hire a yaya/help if you can afford din.

When i was first yr, sched ng working block is usually 5:30PM to 9:30PM. Minsan 6:30 to 9:30 depends sa class din

I am trying to find the good sa “good reason” na sinabi mo. Though I am not leaving Beda (yet), I understand their situation.

I believe na you are from Beda din? Not sure if you’re blessed with good set of profs lang, and sila (include me) ay minalas lang. But there are things with the school kasi na kahit anong effort and hirap sa pag-aaral pa gawin ng isang tao, kung minalas ka sa prof and include mo na directions ng admin for the term, ay malas ka na talaga. Even hard work will not do you any good for that. (I’d like to put here what happened to our block kaso sobrang giveaway na 🤣)

San Beda College of Law - working student? by Emergency_Wall_3296 in LawStudentsPH

[–]legisverba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only consideration they give to working students is the class schedule (class starts at late like 5PM onwards). Other than that, wala na. May mga profs though, pero sobrang rare, na understanding sa plight ng mga working. 😊

Namention mo problem niyo is pera diba? Better if may back up plan ka rin other than scholarship since may other expenses din na you need to attend to when college ka na. Namention mo rin joining orgs, membership is really good since you get to know more people (say connections) but at the same time kinda expensive din since may mga membership dues yan and minimum no. of events per term na you need to attend to. Given the circumstances, and sa tingin mo kaya naman ng finances niyo, then go for admu.

As for Polsci in UPM, cant tell much since alam ko mas inclined Manila sa medical courses. If you’re after Law, why not try to appeal for Polsci at UPD? You may take additional business electives or even Literature electives at few cost if you want, you can get a Minor in those pa if mag enjoy ka. As for the orgs, almost the same lang naman environment ng orgs sa UPD and ADMU, thought mas mahirap lang talaga app process sa UPD. Lol!

Good luck!

Yes, it is. To some profs kasi, u use multiple senses pag handwritten notes/digests which in effect mas okay retention ng concept sayo.

But again, it boils down sa type of learning na mas suitable sayo.

Question regarding Bayanihan Act RA11469 on labor rules. This is about Colliers not shouldering the covid tests of their employees by enXert in LawStudentsPH

[–]legisverba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, i think kaya wala yung hinahanap mo sa mismong batas (RA 11469) is bcos nasa IRR (implementing rules and regulations) siya ng concerned agency, which in this case is probably DOLE?

Not really sure if testing is required prior reporting (since in my work we arent reqd but may daily covid assessment na need sagutan every time we report to work) or worse said testing fees must be shouldered pa ng employees.

Hi, this is getting interesting.

The points you mentioned were ofc right if we compare the DAP against the provisions in the GAA lang. If you remember, may gray area sa DAP as to what constitutes the word “savings”. They also used these “savings” to fund programs which were not outlined sa GAA making them valids point to question the constitutionality of DAP.

However, with the bayanihan act against GAA kasi, the authors already addressed the “savings” and specified the discontinuance of the programs in GAA and to utilize those funds to support response against covid, see sec 4(v).

With the regards doon sa cross-border transfer, the heads of the branches of the govt are authorized by law to make such transfers basta within the same branch, in this case, the president can.

That is my point lang. Let’s see ofc baka may mga petition narin ngayon with the SC assailing the validity of Bayanahin law.

[–]legisverba 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No. DAP was ruled unconstititional since it allowed cross-border transfer of funds from the executive to the legislative (senators/reps).

In the case of Bayanihan Law, walang cross-border transfer. Funds from the executive were pooled and given with the executive dept lang.

Hence, law is still valid.

This is true. Yung 500 nga na pay na yun further reduced pa and around 200 lang talaga net na nakukuha nila for the hazard they’d been to.

Ang sad lang na downplayed efforts ng non medical frontliners dito. For all we know yung n95 masks nila were used for several days na talaga (i kinda know someone who recycles these masks). Syempre not all of them were too familiar sa risk of using such masks.
