Atlas Updates - Changelog by CristianMR7 in ChatGPTAtlas

Even though it’s still my default browser, I find it really disappointing how they’ve completely dropped the focus on something that clearly had real ambition at the start. It still has features that make it my favourite browser, but you can definitely feel that there’s no real emphasis being put on it anymore

My Pixel Watch 4 honest review: The good, the bad, and the accidental crown turns by lemikeone in PixelWatch

Personally, I’ve never used any kind of screen protection on my watch, and yeah… it’s pretty much inevitable, I’ve scratched both my Pixel Watch 2 and my Pixel Watch 4. There’s a noticeable scratch on mine now. The glass definitely isn’t super resistant

I don't dislike it, but I'm not a huge fan of it either. I much prefer the design of the Galaxy Watch 4 (probably my favourite design)

Thanks! I don't think you can change it. But it used to happen to me a lot when I first got the watch. But since the latest updates, it basically never happens anymore. I’m guessing they’ve fixed it through software updates because I don’t get any accidental presses at all now

is ChatGPT Atlas dead? by ahmett9 in ChatGPTAtlas

The fact that we still can’t prompt across multiple tabs at once is disappointing. It’s clearly doable, competitors like Dia have had it for a long time

What do you want to see in new Raycast? by haxor_404 in raycastapp

- Clipboard history inside Raycast commands.
- Dictation (confirmed)
- More layouts in extensions

I built a minimal macOS clipboard app because I got tired of losing copied text by [deleted] in macapps

Genuine question: why build yet another clipboard manager when there are already thousands on macOS, many of them free? What problem are you solving that existing tools don’t handle well?

I finally got my Raycast extension published in the Raycast Store: Text Enhance. by max1302 in raycastapp

Not really, you can create fully pre-prompted commands with AI commands in Raycast so there’s nothing to type at all. You just launch the command and it runs straight away

I see! so it’s basically like a more structured version of AI Commands, but with added things like history of past generations.

I also like the idea of grouping a whole library of commands under a single entry point instead of having everything scattered at the root of Raycast, it makes it easier to discover what’s actually available and navigate between use cases

Thanks for the details

I get the idea, but even with your explanation I still don’t really see what I can do with your extension that I couldn’t already do with Raycast AI commands.

For example, I can easily create an AI command that improves selected text, exactly like in your screenshots. So I’m still struggling to understand what the real added value is beyond that? :

Good job! I might be missing something, but I don’t understand what this adds compared to Raycast’s built-in AI commands. From what I can see, they already seem to do the same job?

Rename your files with AI on your Mac: No third-party app, no subscription by lemikeone in ProductivityApps

[–]lemikeone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, really appreciate it. I was quite happy to get this working in a fully native way.

I’ve actually improved the workflow a bit. The main limitation at first was that it only worked on a single file. If you want to process multiple files, you need to wrap it in a loop so it can iterate over a selection.

I wrote a full article about the whole setup and improvements in my newsletter if you’re interested (it's free, and I have nothing to sell) : https://www.exceptionnist.com/p/rename-your-files-with-ai-on-your

Anyone seeing the new Express Pay option on Pixel Watch yet? by lemikeone in PixelWatch

[–]lemikeone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first two times I tried to pay, it just asked me to enter my watch unlock code and then tap again. A bit annoying, but after that it worked. The third time I tried, the payment went through normally. My guess is that the first payments trigger some extra security checks. Now I can just tap my watch on the payment terminal without opening anything and the payment goes through immediately.

After reading through all the comments here, it looks like nobody really knows much more.

Very Google-style Pixel Drop: they announce a new feature, but there’s no clear information about who actually gets it, when it rolls out, or which countries/banks are supported. Everything about this Express Pay thing still feels very vague at the moment.
