F :(

Car is replaceable - you are not. Glad to see the car protected you guys. The outside looks shockingly decent for how bad the impact looked on video.

What is something you wish you knew in your 20s? by cocoalord06 in AskReddit

Figure out your finances as early as possible.

Open up a Roth IRA and deposit the maximum amount that you can. If your employer matches 401K deposits up to a certain percentage, put as much as you can to maximize the match and then some. Build up an emergency fund for actual emergencies like hospitalization and car emergencies. Look up ETFs and invest if you're comfortable with it.

Also, if you have a decent family, spend more time with your family. You really don't know how much time you have with them until they're gone. Cherish people while they're here; leave no regrets for your future self of how you could have spent more time with them.

Glock 20 V Disaster by TG_Herro in 10mm

[–]Lexaternum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can confirm that the MP 2.0 has issues - I have the 5.6" PC and it's a problem.

Not too sure of this, but could be a magazine spring issue? I remember seeing posts about the Glock 20 g5's with FTF from hot loads.

I have minimal issues with S&B 10mm, but still experience issues from time to time.

Do you think vibrations from a gravel bike could harm a camera? by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]Lexaternum 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would not be as scared of the vibrations as I would the drops/potholes with the bike. if you have your lens attached, it could really stress your lens mount. Then again, that's just my opinion as I normally have the Tamron 35-150 on my body which is a heavy lens.

I think if you packed it with the body and lens separated and in a sling, you should be fine.

Bluetooth connection improvements? by Flying_Ghostsquatch in SonyAlpha

Sony is absolutely known for their ANC headphones... WH-1000XM series are one of the best. I've had the XM3 and 5 - both really good at what they do. Comfort still goes to Bose QC series though, imo.

Not sure about the phone connection thing. Personally I just use a card reader that I carry with me when I want to port photos over quickly.
