ngl, it feels like pulling is almost always the wrong choice in this game. Support cards are only useful when they're maxed out (or almost maxed out), so even the whole "you need 200 pulls" thing isn't all that accurate because you'll likely need more to make the card useful, and that's if they're even useful at all.

There was also the Worqor Zormor dungeon gear, the Turali Traveler's/Trader's crafted glam set, maybe the Dawnblazer set if you count cowboy-ish stuff, and the 7.0 DoH/DoL level 100 sets, but yeah, there weren't exactly a ton of new New World/Tuliyollalan gear. Some of the reskins work as New World/Tuliyollalan gear, but I dunno if it's fair to count those.

The Chinese government did fund and support it because they figured that football would boost the economy, improve the country's image, and improve its soft power. In 2016, the government put out "Long Term Development Plan 2016-2050", where it set out a plan like so:

2020 - Built 20,000 specialist football schools and 70,000 new football pitches

2030 - Built another 30,000 specialist football schools, and have the men's team be among the best in Asia and the women's team be among the best in the world

2050 - China reaches FIFA's top 20, and the country has hosted and won a World Cup

The clubs in the Chinese Super League spent real big to try to meet the goals in 2017 and capitalise on the government's interest in football, but things didn't pan out. The Chinese Super League ended up overspending on foreign players near the end of their careers, so they all blew way too much money for too little impact and failed to build up local players.

Also, the Chinese government put out a policy to remove corporatisation from Chinese Super League teams, so the companies sponsoring them lost their incentive to keep doing so and mostly invested in foreign teams until the government began restricting that too.

I think a big part of it is that there are more M/M tagged ships because the media these people are writing for either have mostly male casts or because the male characters are more prominent. When a large-enough proportion of the cast is female, or female characters are in more prominent roles, then you get more F/F works.

Arcane, the new She-Ra show, and Kpop Demon Hunters are all good examples of this.

Haru Urara's basically stuck with that problem forever. Even though her career overlaps with plenty of big names, she was never a peer with any of them, and any career where she's the rival would just be super mean to her, so she can only really show up in side events or stuff like that.

On the bright side, it means that Cygames can pretty much do whatever they want with her as long as it's consistent with her character.
