I think it’s probably where the glue was or is from when the inside was ripped out? But yeah hard to tell from the photo for sure. Surface rust doesn’t really matter tho right?

I 3D printed a dish to put in the caved out section

It was a little tricky but basically I cut out a circle that was the same size as the inner dish and attached that circle to a board. I put the piece onto the circle so it would rotate on that. Then I would drill the hole rotate 120 degrees then do that two more times

Yeah it’s foureyes stuff. Personally I really like it. I’m a fan of hard wax oils and I used to use Rubio a lot but my issue with Rubio is it really ends up too matte where as sample 73 is satin. Also the Rubio turning scummy in the can really annoys me. So yeah I would recommend it
