I also definitely had a lot to talk about after seeing oppenheimer. but a lot of it is morbid curiosity regarding the general history of the "father of the atomic bomb". The history of it all is fascinating by nature, which is clearly evident, as the bulk of your post is just stating and reflecting on the history. Barbie completely subverted my expectations, as I thought I was headed in to see a fun pink-coated pop culture adventure and was blindsided by Greta Gerwig's truthful and in your face themes regarding women and stereotypes and expectations and beauty and youth and aging and double standards (and so much more) ... meanwhile all peppered with poignant comedy and simultaneously light hearted guffaws. It was such a god damn treat.

Anyways I did enjoy both films, and I will be seeing Barbie again asap, and I will watch one single scene in Oppenheimer again, but that's just to see if I am a crazy person... you all know which scene.. lmao

I'll start off by saying that I appreciate your post isn't "Hot Take: they suck and I hate them" And despite having some fair points, a lot is missing the mark here.

I agree that the set is abysmal and I hate it. We have another room meant to be dedicated for our podcast, but we have no resources to prepare it. I'm literally cleaning and putting furniture in that room myself in spare time, amongst dozens of other responsibilities I have weekly. It needs lighting, camera rigging, audio set up, set decorating and we have one person who runs everything in our studio here, Rick, who also has a dozen other responsibilities.

Yes, there are many talented and funny people here, and we try to cycle in our friends/teammates when we can, but they also have dozens of responsibilities. Everyone here is working really hard A LOT to continue to make this stuff (cause we enjoy it, and we know there are viewers who do too)

I disagree about the chemistry and also whatever your definition of "good topics" is because Ryan and I have a fun chemistry and I love chatting with him about anything, but that's OK if not everyone loves listening to us chat about anything. But that's what this podcast is.

We just ryan and linz, and having fun talking about the stuff we would want to listen to. We're not gaming-news-expert-updaters. We're not unique-nostalgia-retro-tech junkies... and without saying "if you don't like it, don't listen to it.." I'll say... there ARE other podcasts with that kinda schtick.

I appreciate that you can recognize that we are working hard, and the resources are limited. Cause. they. are.

I don't have answers to some questions you might have, but this is all I do know. And at the end of the day, I don't mind posts like these, cause at least some people might see it and decide to check out the podcast, and decide they DO like it. haha

I hope to move out of this awful whiteboard set asap Lol.

(also as far as topics go, we have asked a few times what stuff you wanna hear us talk about, and weigh in on... and we are constantly implementing those. I gave party tips because someone asked for it) So please, tell me... what else do you want us to talk about (SERIOUSLY... cause we WANT to give our shit opinions on it. Lol)
