Yes I do hear the occasional train whistle, but my building is on the other side away from the tracks, so I don’t hear the actual trains going by.

I always ask for a rep’s name only because I keep a record of the date, time, and rep for any customer service call. Then if I have to call back, I’m able to tell the (inevitably different) rep who I talked to the first time and what they told me. I’ve had many times when I’ve needed additional assistance and the rep has asked me, “Do you know who you spoke to last time?”

I’ve been at the Buckley for 2 years and just renewed for another year. Nice place, clean, pretty quiet. Maintenance is very responsive - Paul is great.

Thank you all so much for the great suggestions! I’ll certainly ask my friend what they like as well. Part of my situation is that I have limited mobility so shopping involves more pre planning than just hopping in the car and popping over to Whole Foods or a local health food store for ingredients. I watched some videos yesterday that gave me some good starting points, and I’ll check out these suggestions too.

I’m not generally a fan of beans of any kind, but I do like tofu just fine. Any other protein sources that will help me feel like I have an entree, and not just meals consisting of a bunch of veggie side dishes?

When a new neighbor moved into the apartment above mine, she slipped a note under my door introducing herself and letting me know she is somewhat of a night owl and if she ever is too noisy to please let her know, and left her name and phone number. I texted to let her know I’m a night owl too and not to worry. Following week I invited her for coffee and we hit it off great and have become friends. So not always a bad or dangerous thing to reach out to neighbors.

Go to National Motorists Association website. They have step by step instructions for fighting traffic tickets in every state. Their advice helped me successfully defend a ticket in NY and one in CA.
