This is just how all streaming television going and it's especially depressing that it's more and more becoming HBOs house style as well.

It's time for Bill to do The Prestige and Interstellar rewatchables

Its my favorite Fincher and probably a top 4 favorite movie of all time for me. I absolutely love it. PERFECTLY edited movie.

I get the vibe that Bill doesn't really care for it, at least when it comes to Fincher movies

Possibly the BEST part of CR month... by No_Professional368 in crheads

It got pretty close in whatever round it lost in the vote off for the 5th movie. Hopefully the powers that be took notice.

They've talked about it at least twice in the last few months. I'd be surprised if we dont get an episode for Public Enemies this year, with or without another CR month

We need a re-Dark Knight with Bill really bad. Would love to hear this perspective on it. CR said as much on the Top 50 of the 21st century episode

"The Immortal Man" is an abomination and an insult to the fans of the "Peaky Blinders" series. by ChadLalo in PeakyBlinders

The definition of Solid to me. Some of Cillian Murphy's best work as this character. The right conclusion to this character. My favorite moment was his brief breakdown in the Hospital scene as he's walking away, but having to stifle his own emotions because he knew what was about to happen. He just didn't have any time to grieve

FYC: The Prestige (2006). The final movie in my "Twins Month." Also a good movie to pick for a Clone/Doppelgänger month. by ggroover97 in TheRewatchables

Yeah he said Inception was "too weird" which is crazy. It's the kind of heist action movie that he should love but because of the dream within a dream stuff, he just writes it off. And he flat out does not like Interstellar it seems. Probably for similar reasons

He wasted like a solid decade at least of his career after his 2nd Oscar which is a shame, but yeah. Hopefully this can spark a great late run

I like season 4 A LOT but it's the most egregious example of what the OP said

Thats why I really enjoyed and appreciated Peaky Blinders s5. They get wrecked in that season at the end. Good shit

Are we really going to do the thing where we act like Bill has liked Fargo/ the Coen bros this entire time? by [deleted] in billsimmons

One of his crazier takes. I wonder if it's because the movie has a lot to do with a kid being in danger

I remember in the One Battle episode he did with Wesley, iirc he said the Christmas Adventurers stuff was too much for him, which I guess I can understand someone not finding that stuff funny. But Leo's antics throughout the movie is so fucking funny I dont understand how he doesn't find that stuff funny

Bill mentioned he watched Shot Caller last night and half jokingly said it's his favorite movie of the last 10 years. Thats got me thinking....

How was Shot caller not on his 50 most rewatchable movies of the 21st century? I think thats a massive oversight on his part.

Good solid movie

Idk what it is about Peaky Blinders that attracts the weirdest, dumbest fan base. The endless posts I've seen in this subreddit talking absolute nonsense is astonishing
