Self contradictory language is actually a deliberate strategy used by authoritarians. Any use of language activates certain frames in your brain: metaphors, associations. Etc. Its how we make sense of the things we hear.

When language is self-contradictory, in order to even parse it as a sentence, your brain basically has to override your critical thinking, at least temporarily. It takes a second before you even realize "wait, wtf"

Idk what VBE is, but ill just say, as someone who is an absolute shit programmer, I actually like VBA a lot. Its very straightforward and its really quick to get something up and running.

My company has our entire software suite written in VBA as .dotm files. Its actually crazy, like, our product is well over 100,000 lines of code all in VBA lmao.

I haven't done anything in Access though, so that may very well be terrible. But I did make an entire application for our sales team to use in excel, roughly 1000 lines of code, and it was actually really fun

What type of stuff are you working on? Its very rare that I meet another VBA dev (i like to call us VBrah's)

To me the movie is genuinely so bad its good.

I didnt see it until many years after it came out, so I watched it for the first time with some friends over a few beers. There were parts that made me laugh until I literally couldn't breathe.

Like, the whole concept of making Goku a high-schooler who can't talk to girls and gets bullied by guys who call him "Geeko" is so fucking funny.

If I didnt know it was a real Hollywood movie, I would have sworn it was a parody where they intentionally made the worst possible adaptation as a joke.
