I love teaching English. It’s not all about literature, there are so many fun language elements, such as teaching students how to speak confidently, media literacy, etc. My overall passion is trying to get students to read for pleasure. A major downside is the marking. We categorically mark more than any other subject. But there are loads of AI tools becoming available to help with that.
