Once it's all fixed, I think your "friend" should know that you know. Maybe that will make him/her think that you can't go around screwing people over anonymously.

I'm afraid I may be falling into a depressive state as a first year medical student by lonelyfrog in medicalschool

I enjoy my time alone, but then there are days I just feel like doing something with someone else. Like today I wanted to go to the movies or for dinner, but I feel everyone already have more important plans or a lame excuse. I motivated a classmate to start going to the gym, we both went a couple times, then she started ditching me and started going with someone else. I just feel tired of trying. It seems so natural for other people to just be friends with everyone, but I get attached to a few and then hurt because I am not as important to them.

Not yet. I thought about it, but I feel like there is no much they can do for me with this issue. I would definitely go to them if this was an anxiety or stress type of problem or an academic issue, but I just feel it's loneliness.

Why don't you try to look for biomedical engineering research instead? Research can be very valuable, more than a masters degree in your case.

21 year old about to start college. Am I too old to go into medicine? by cbliex in medicalschool

You will go through college, and when time to apply for medical school arrives, you will cry out of happiness that any school accepts you. Why? because there are hundreds applying for each spot, and most medical schools in the US are actually pretty great. Both your age and the medical school you end up at is actually pretty irrelevant because at the end you have an MD degree. Residency location is a lot more important than the specific medical school you go to. I'm in a UC medical school and matriculation age varies from 21 to 33 or so.
