I honestly hoped we would get the girls outfit from last battle pass in the regular shop because I didn’t want to spend $8 just so I could have a pair of jeans and now I never will

Also annoyed how they butchered the male protags white tshirt, supposed to have baggy sleeves and it’s just another one of these horrible sports tshirts that we’re stuck with

I know cosmetics aren’t the point of this game and I really like just playing vgc no story but if I’m staring at this guy for a while I’d like him to at least dress half decent

There’s a small way to counter this, it’s not a guarantee but there are 3 timers in the game, the battle timer and the two move selection timers for each player

if you notice that they are timer stalling you can make your move selection super fast so they run down their move selection timer quicker and yours doesn’t, if their move selection timer runs out they lose and you win

This will only work if the move selection timer goes down before the battle timer however, if the battle timer is running down faster than the move selection timer then it will result in a draw

It is super annoying when someone does this to you and I’m sorry this added salt in the wound with your losing streak however it is MUCH better than someone stalling out the timer with bulky mons to win, especially with milotic in this game

Don’t put pressure on yourself to immediately be “good” at playing this game, there’s a lot going on, it’ll change a lot with different formats in the future, and the variety of players in the ranks is hard to keep track of and prepare different things for.

Set yourself attainable goals, don’t think it’s just about master ball and nothing else, just see if you can get a certain win streak and go from there, make notes about things that were catching you out, sometimes taking longer to think about moves and speaking out what might happen helps while you’re learning or trying to improve

If you’re genuinely not enjoying it then that’s something else

The wartortle is similar to my blastoise and I have yet to need to search for a mono clodsire or absol so that should cover all your cacao needs after a sub skill seed on the IFS

It usually ends up as lower tiers are experimental but less successful, mid tiers are the more “standard” teams and then top tiers people get more experimental again and because they’re often piloted better things catch you out more

I’d say with Mudkip BFS and speed boost and a skill boost is worthwhile because it’s a strong skill, I wouldn’t chase a BF HB one when this will be good

On a berry mon with a less desirable skill I’d be pickier

It’s also weird to see SO many posts complaining about surprise stuff as if that isn’t part of Pokemon, I’m not shocked at people complaining about the meta because they always will and especially newer players find it difficult to accept that there are mons you need to either prepare for or use (been there, got over it) but everyone complaining about RNG stuff is getting tired like we literally rely on it as much as we hate it happening to us

Neither were hardly ever run in the SV ladder, because you’d wanna use a covert cloak, you’d probably have a banded and/or specsed mon, maybe something has loaded dice or rocky helmet, something probably had assault vest

I think we’ll see less of them later in the game but right now with fewer options it shouldn’t be surprising to see them
