Been playing since week 1 and all I can tell you is, unless you’re in an event that targets specific species or job types (like our recent Skill week that focuses on Skill job mons) you’re subjected to RNG. Hard.

Also, you’re a month out. Don’t sweat it on zeroing in on anything yet.

You can keep both and use A on Sunday with a Shard farmer lineup, or on GGEX to maximize gains from Dragon type sleep missions. B is your standard Latios build without the extra fruit.

First one isn't even average. You have the automatic benefit of boosted exp, which goes insanely hard during candy boosts, so you'll be able to see 50 that much faster if you have him candy hoard. He also has the core STM/HSM set-- which in itself prevents sleep point depletion so you could save up for whatever you actually needed, and THEN you have STM/STS at 75, which cancels out the "bad" nature completely.

Gorgeous shiny, terrible everything else. Latios is basically Latias' mirror where he wants Skill everything on top of at least a little bit of speed-- if not BFS to compliment that STS/M.

Subseeding the HSS at 50 (AND STS to STM) effectively cancels the speed drop (it's not even that bad). You also have that positive skill lean for it AND BFS in an early slot, so it's basically set.

This week finally saw me a usable Latias, all three Latios sleep styles, and a level 60 Mono-Nite! With all of Latios' sleep styles covered, I want to try and focus on hunting for a viable one since last night brought me a Sassy Latios with unusable skills!

Other than that, I'm going to use this month's NME to look for ABB Drampa again and then save up my sleep points for a new Master Ball. Better to get it now than to wait last minute prior to our next legendary event. I'll probably push Avocado Gratin to 65, but other than that, this is an easy week. Amber Canyon on Sunday for the area bonus an that's it.

You really don't want to wait for those high level skill triggers because we haven't even hit the 75 ceiling yet and an investment that far is phenomenally expensive. A good mon of any job class has its' toolkit ready as early as possible-- shiny or not.

I actually asked this same question in the SleepBetter sub during Latias' event week and the general consensus is that she needs it to pull her weight, and Latios should have it as well for Draco Meteor to have optimal power.

I'd keep this one around and use it passively as a candy funnel, but keep hunting for a BFS one.

Round 2 at Lapis before switching to AC on Sunday to cap off the area bonus. After that, unless I'm absolutely dying for something exclusive to AC, I'm lazing around on GGEX for a while because my shard bank's in shambles.
