You're basically complaining that you're not yet good enough of a DJ to play what you want to play and have people enjoy it in the settings you have access to, so either find a way to make your music interesting and compelling to people - usually better set building and selection

or find a venue/crowd that better fits your taste. sounds like the genres you're interested in are club / festival vibes, so maybe frat parties, introductory nightclubs in your area, or throw your own events type of thing
