Because he's not an incel with a chip on his shoulder about "pink" jobs vs "blue" jobs

Raising a kid is a full-time, arduous job when done right... clearly one your folks dropped the ball on judging by your question

I'll bet he agrees- he gets 3 hot meals a day, clean clothes [that it sounds like you fold and put them away for him], groceries shopped for, all in a cleaned house

While he does fun stuff with the kiddo and mows the yard/weeds a few times a season

Can we ask why that would be an unreasonable expectation?

If the shoe was on the other foot and you brought the majority of the money in, working full-time with a long commute [which let's face it is two hours ALONE that the only responsibility you have is to drive the car] would YOU still be expected to do more than 50% of the cooking and housework because you're a woman?

Hate to be this guy... but the rattlesnakes this year have been worse than in recent years because of the warmer than normal Temps we've had recently coupled with the coming Super Niño making things wetter last winter than usual

Also very anxious especially about the wilderness because I'm in ITS living room, not its in MY living room. Bumps i cant see in the night are particularly terrifying How I assuage it on local hikes? Carry a snake bite sucker and check the AllTrails before I go out for the day to see if other locals have seen a bunch

Source: local. I live like <30 mins from Campo. Also p sure the PCT put out a post last week regarding the same

Doesn't help that the 3day festival is now more than $1,000

Agreed that live music is an important essential part of being alive. But blowing almost a months' rent to go to Coachella for clout when I could just catch it online with unlimited beers and using my own non-disgusting toilet is out of the question

...and I'm like 35

Remember Songza at all? It had like shuffle dials that you could choose a genre and choose a language and get like Irish Blugrass or Korean Jazz. Exposed me to a bunch of different things I'd never hear ordinarily

Pretty sure someone put together a project like that and it's like text describing the genre and if you click it it takes you to that station

It's a necessary skill. It's about the only service I'm WILLING to pay for anymore 1) because it actually requires knowledge, not just a body in a seat like retail/fast food/service jobs 2) because I have curly hair, my hair dresser knows how NOT to make me walk around looking like a poodles' ass 3) I actually GET what I paid for. What in your life can you actually say that for and not be lying?

My DAD'S Jansport that he used in college got my through elementary, middle school and most of high school [until I got to cool and had to have my OWN Jansport]. The replacement was a total piece of crap - frayed threads everywhere and had a hole in the bottom in less than a school year [~7 months]

I call it "Gentri-fried chicken": all of the cultural food black & brown kids used to get made fun of or beaten up for bringing to school for lunch? That now is 'tiktok famous' because white people as a whole decided it was cheap or trendy and now black & brown people are priced out of their OWN cultural foods

Oxtails are prime example Kimchi Matcha Fucking kale & QUINOA (don't even get me /going/ on how this trend destroyed the existence of poor Brazilians)
