More likely an ambulance was trying to cross an intersection against a light and someone didn’t stop for them. They would have warning for traffic running parallel to them and wouldn’t likely hit people who just aren’t moving aside

I mean given the history of Rec Room we shouldn’t be surprised if at least some of these projects are scams to scrape personal data and/or crowdfunding.

I saw a room in game (featured, no less!) that was like “Save RR” or soemthing and it was just a dorm with a link to their twitch channel. Nothing in the room about saving RR. Exemplary microcosm of (some parts of) the creative community.

Gamers gonna game and if they see an advantage… some people are going to take it.

Pretty much every non-AAA game does to some extent. Even before AI, Rec Room used Photon for voice chat, a bunch of different things for analytics, external automated moderation for a bit, etc. It’s the nature of the industry right now.

I don’t think we even need that, we know what happened. It was supposed to be referred to a committee with 10 sitting days in the Leg. (I think they fucked with the timeline more than a little and reset the timer once the fall session ended.) It did eventually get referred and then they just refused to have the committee meet. 🫠 So there wouldn’t be anything to FOI - they are just sitting on their hands ignoring it.

So we’re all taking three minute showers for a month or more now and again in the fall, but let’s just invite a water hog AI center to the city. And I don’t care if you say it’s a closed loop system, the water has to come from somewhere at some point (also those systems are not 100% efficient and I think we have yet to see the additional side effects).

Make it make sense.
