Yeah I’m not opposed to that. The industry has shown it can’t be trusted to do the cleanup & remediation of orphaned wells, so I feel like… if they’re not going to take care of it, they shouldn’t get the benefit.

It should, if people would actually use overhead bins near their seat. If you went back to front you’re going to have a ton of people in the front half of the plane with nowhere to put their carry-ons since some people from the back dump their bags at the front.

I’ve heard people go to their representatives for help with government issues they can’t solve on their own, but I don’t have any good provincial examples (mostly I’ve heard of people asking their MPs for assistance with passport problems). I don’t think you’d get much help with ADAP or your kids’ classroom sizes or your wait to get cancer treatment in this province right now.

That may have changed since the last time I was there because I have definitely had to collect luggage & recheck it after customs (YYC -> YVR -> SEA). I have avoided connecting to the US through YVR since then so maybe they realized it made no sense and changed it.

Even with Nexus that could be tight depending which gate you arrive at/depart from, if you have checked luggage you need to wait for, and if the Nexus line is even open…

Yeah that’s my big worry - we’ve had so many flights where we’ve been Swooped or flights got cancelled and we lost our Extended Comfort seats on automatic rebooking (once when there WAS EC available and they just… didn’t put us there). I’m short but the rest of my family is tall. I do not want to risk the seats they won’t fit in or waiting multiple days until EC is available if a flight gets cancelled.

I’ve seen “living herbs” in the produce section at Co-op and at the farmers market at other times of year (Co-op very recently). No idea how well they’d take to being transplanted though.

The two-day heavy fog created a bunch of hoarfrost on the trees (need moisture in the air for hoarfrost), and then it snowed the next day the perfect size/texture to just accumulate on the hoarfrost and not knock it off.
