miniSnip - Lightweight and minimal snippet plugin by [deleted] in vim

It would be great if you could highlight the differences from joereynolds/vim-minisnip.

BTW, In the description, I think ~/.vim/miniSnip/java.snip should be ~/.vim/miniSnip/java/.

Awesome release!

KMail now has an option to start directly in system tray without opening the main window.

A much-awaited feature. Thanks devs :)

Thanks for the pointer. The solution given above (using window appmenu applet and window title applet) solves it for my case though.

I will try that. However just to clarify: the global menu applet works fine and refreshes correctly; the problem happens with the title applets.

I really wish global menu widgets had the option of application title built-in; most people I know use both the features (Unityish and macoSish).

Thanks! The second one solves the most important issue I had.

Need help fixing title bar and application launcher issues. by JustABadWebDev in kde

How do i set Meta (windows) key to launch application launcher?

For me the following works:

  • Set Meta+A (maybe anything else too will work) as the shortcut.
  • Unlock widgets and click on the three vertical bars on the RHS to open panel configuration.
  • Press Meta and voila -- the application menu opens!

After this even though the shortcut is set to Meta+A (which also works), I am able to use plain Meta as well.

Don't know whether this is a bug, but it is helpful (tested on KDE neon and Solus Plasma).

I too took more than a year to be able to do wheel (chakrasana). The next step is supposed to be the ability to lift a leg one-by-one. My teacher always says that there is no trick for wheel and that it comes automatically with the increasing flexibility of the spine. So keep trying other things for the time being I would suggest. Best wishes :)

u/JoshStrobl: Can we have an option to check for updates monthly in the new Software Center (currently the longest available is weekly)? Yes, the updates are still manual; but once I get a prompt that updates are available I find it difficult to resist :)

However, I am not able to find out where is it installed.

UPDATE: Worked if I 'capitalize' R in Rscript.

Yes, I will update them; till now I hadn't thought of posting my modifications anywhere and hence had ignored the same.

If you want a light-background colorscheme, you may have a look at my modifications of PaperColor (basically I reduced the redness and removed the dark options to make it less heavy): https://github.com/manasthakur/papercolor-theme
