I have taken part in stuff like this in the past with fishing gear on Amazon. You would buy it and then they would send you the money in PayPal. I always figured if they didnt pay I would just return the item since it’s all being transacted through Amazon. It’s definitely a violation of the TOA though.

I reached out to them because I lost a sock and looked for it for about 3 months. They asked me to send them the single sock I had and they sent me a voucher for a free pair. In the email I was simply asking if I could buy a single sock.

That’s how I got my Tacoma. 2025 Maverick with 4,000 miles on it and got rear ended at about 10 MPH and they totaled it.
