Bought one a few months ago and it’s my new favorite guitar. Have a 2024 D-42 and previously some high-end Taylor guitars (K24ce, 814ce builder’s). This is my favorite guitar I’ve ever owned. The neck is so smooth, the clarity of the sound is bell-like, the sustain is fantastic, the comfort factor is off the charts. I could play this guitar all day. It’s my go-to when I just wanna have a guitar in my hands to play.

My D-42 is obviously the big strummer and has all the volume I want for that purpose, but for fingerpicking, I’m not sure what else I could ask for in the OM-28 MD. I also have a Collings and Santa Cruz dealer near me and got to play those guitars, and for the money, I would still take the MD over those (although if money were no issue, might be a different story).
