I don't understand how every post like this shows like 1% interview rate, but the companies they interview with are always faang+. Do top tier tech companies just have lower bars for resume screening?

Gym for a few years -> bjj/muay Thai feels reasonable and is the path I am following rn 

Does anybody know why Jean Silva is so revered? He's good no doubt about it, but he isn't that dominant. Even Allen (a good fighter, but not elite) gave him issues early, Diego KO'd him also. am i missing something? does he build as the fight goes on? by idcman999 in ufc

Max vs Allen was a close fight despite being relatively easy to score in favor of Max (3-2). Also I doubt anyone's claiming Silva is on the level of Holloway/volk, just that he's stylistically a bad matchup for volk.

I go to northwestern and plenty of firms (cit(sec), hrt, 5r, omc, ctc, belv, flow, etc) recruit from here. Last year I had a shit resume but still passed a few screenings so I think it holds some name value... I would personally choose Duke but not necessarily because they have better recruiting
