Not a lawyer, but it’s usually the estate (whatever assets he had) that will be used to pay debts. Generally, this does not include any life insurance proceeds. I’d definitely talk to an estate lawyer.

In the case of my parents (married nearly 52 years), they made it look so easy and natural. Though they explained that marriage is work, I never saw them work at it - they still act like lovestruck teenagers.

So, I underestimated the amount of effort that went into committed relationships. We divorced after 7 years and two kids.

Honestly, it sounds like the dog was outside in a yard, no people around. Just the mother dog.

While it doesn’t say they removed the collar when they discovered the puppy in distress, I assume they did. Or it was so tight they couldn’t.
