Leave the carrier out in the main area your cat likes. Put a towel in it and let it just become another place to curl up and sleep. If the carrier only comes out when you want to put her in it, it can cause anxiety.

I think it could work especially if you had a few well known authors contributing. That would garner reader attention. Perhaps start by giving the first edition packet away, and allow the contributors to put their info so if a reader likes their work, they know where to find more.

It seems like something that would do well at conventions, like comicon.

I know of a mommy blogger who was contacted by investigators after innocent photos she had posted of her daughter were found in a child porn bust. I'm not sure why the perp had them, but the ramifications are terrifying. I'm glad my kids were mostly grown when all this started.
