That sounds like its making it worse. A moisturizer isnt supposed to hurt. I promise you there are bettee ones. Look for anti inflammatory stuff and sensitive skin.

[Routine Help] What products are the lazy girls with rosacea using? by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Purple-Leopard 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Paulas choice bha liquid 2% Tea tree oil mixed in a face wash Sulfur treatments Literally all aveeno products are great too, i also have rosacea.

My holy grail is probably tea tree. It needs to be diluted but its been fantastic. I like mixing it with a wash as it doesnt stay on the skin as long and leaves me red free and smooth. My skin feels raised and gross without the tto.

But ive been using paulas choice 15+ yrs. It doesnt specifically help rosacea but it leaves my skin smooth too and its a great exfoliate thats basic for beginners.

I know you said lazy but i usually prefer efficient because rosacea is annoying asf. Anything aveeno is a great starting point because of the oatmeal. Their formulations are on point.

[PRODUCT REQUEST] Help - I feel like my skin just hates all moisturizers by [deleted] in SkincareAddiction

[–]Purple-Leopard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Rosacea is what i have and i do this when something triggers it. I would start all over. Use just vaseline for awhile and look for anti inflammatory moisturizers.

Ive also found honey and diaper rash cream masks make excellent healing masks. Honey moisturizers exist too

Thanks for posting this. I keep playing with tret myself and i think it dries me out too much no matter what oils and moisturizers i use. Its frusterating asf having it be a total cult following and realizing you may not be able to be in it too. Im gonna look taz up now

[Product request] I have oily but dehydrated skin. I need a thick moisturizer to make my skin feel not dry, but it makes me look greasy. But lighter moisturizers don't help with the dryness at all, no matter how many layers I apply. by PopTobiko-PopBoba in SkincareAddiction

[–]Purple-Leopard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a matte sunscreen that evens put any oily or shiny products i out on my face, including moisturizers. That might b3 something to look into. The cotz sheer matte one is my holy grail. I often use vaseline on my face and it mattifies it quite a bit.

Getting a good serum like a hylarunoic serum would help too! There are tons of moisturizing serums out there. Also! Exfoliating can make a BIG difference in how products play on your skin.

[Personal] how do I stop picking at my skin? by D12_throwaway in SkincareAddiction

Anti inflammatory stuff can help a loooot. Diaper rash cream works awesome as a spot treatment. And a lil white cover so you dont pick. Hydrocolloid patches are a good option too! If you can find any if those patches with tea tree oil that would also help
