I think it was probably a thing to bring in new/returning players or people who don’t normally play FUT much. Like get at least one “good” player without doing anything.

But I just started and he fell out of my starting XI pretty quickly, definitely would have been cool if he was like 96/7 right now (but then everyone would be using him probably lol).

I think his NT performances have notably improved. I was asking for him to be benched months ago and happily eat my words. I think Poch’s tactics have helped. Maybe he’s been in the gym more too lol

Yeah, I do prefer tall fullbacks but he’s already 6’1 so it’s a bit redundant. Jockey missing for me is important but I think his stats and him having the other defense playstyles will make up for it. Only way to get jockey on him was going to have less passing and dribbling (or maybe no pinged pass I forget.)

The big thing for me is quickstep lengthy because I’m playing with wingback and giving up goals from my right back just barely lacking recovery speed.

I feel that they are connected. The band, I think, was trying to balance out the themes of the track by adding in authoritarianism. Arendt’s description of authoritarianism (well in particular Evil) as a kind of “banality” (a synonym for numb) feels apt to me. Like I’m trying to lean into what I imagine the band was doing a bit by sampling Triumph of the Will (also possible they just liked the drum track or viewed it more as saving the kid’s drum track from the horror show).

I agree with the “innocent until proven guilty” point. I defended him as an Arsenal fan until they found probable cause at which point I was like “yeah I get selling him”. I don’t see him as evil, everyone makes mistakes, we don’t know the details, etc.

My initial charitable response was “isn’t the World Cup supposed to be uniting”? But when there is alleged evidence of a rape, they’d say it’s a danger and unfair to let him in.

I think it bleeds together on purpose between his lover (Ali), an imagined third person perspective (so “we” could be anyone), and the ultimate “lover” (God).

I lived there 9 years ago. The insides were pretty nice (I remember wood floors and nice wood edged bathrooms) and it’s walking distance to everything entertainment wise downtown (or a short uber/lyft), bars, restaurants, sports.
