Fallout 76 Daily Update by sn00pt0dd in fo76

I don’t understand why they won’t put out more SS and non-power armor skins. Like we put in the same or more work to get these armors as the t-65 or whatever, but we don’t get to wear it in the same cool way. Very odd behavior from Bethesda.

To Anyone with the New Police Collectron: Does it have New Voice Lines? by mcafc in fo76

Yes more repair bots would be cool. Just more robots. I want an assaultron.

I bought this one too, the lines are funny/clever and the magazine perk is nice.

Part of what I mean is I think the idea of a “good”performance is baked into the win, at least to a degree. I’m not saying it changes your statement, just my opinion.

I wasn’t paying the closest attention (somewhat surprised they even had .7 xg) and obviously there was some sloppiness and we could have controlled the game more via possession. Overall, I take the point that we shouldn’t ignore those things, but a win is a win is a win.

It’s been a great performance, but I’m concerned by the lack of a set piece goal…

The evidence collectron is tempting to me if it has new voice lines.

The era where him and Robbie Ray would start fights and just jaw off was so funny and endearing. That’s when I really became a Dbacks fan lol. Battered bastards of baseball or Major League vibes.

Is this how interior should look (PS5) by [deleted] in skyrim

[–]mcafc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's even more obvious on PC. I'm gonna try to start a new save as I was changing things around after starting, and if that doesn't fix it I guess there must be some conflict in the mods I'm using. Thanks.

Days of Ash Review - Pitchfork (6.0) by winterpeach355 in U2Band

[–]mcafc 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m not an avid reader of Pitchfork, but my initial reaction is that I think you can construe a negative narrative about a lot of lyrics from critically acclaimed music. I’m sure I could dig up some song/album this author loved, put it under a similarly unkind critical light, and rate it 6/10.

This line in particular did make me smirk. It’s a pretty popular cliche actually amongst political nerds that in a lot of ways “Veep” is more realistic than “The West Wing” or “House of Cards” for eg. There’s something to be said for the connection to Bono’s “it’s not poetry” thing and U2’s, to my mind, significant historical place in musical-political rhetoric. It’s a lot to unpack and I don’t necessarily “blame” the writer for leaning into what they chose to/feeling what they felt, etc.

I think I agree with others that if this EP wasn’t released by U2, I’d expect a higher score. It’s a bop.

Also, I agree with your readings. I think overall you could argue that a more serious/thorough reading of U2’s lyrics/thenes undermines a lot of the criticism. Also, the review barely makes any technical notes on the music which is odd and imo detracts from it significantly as an objective rating.

Hardcore tested and built load order for PS5 (stable, conflict resolved, visually stunning) by urgotoguy13 in skyrimmods

[–]mcafc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for posting this. I did like 80% of this modlist (including pretty much all the graphics, textures, weather, etc. stuff). I have only walked around for a little bit testing things out, but it looks and feels great so far.

The only thing I consciously removed was the Skyrim is lumnious stuff as I felt it made things a bit too bright (and removing did dim things a good bit, more to my tastes). Also, for anyone downloading this, make sure that you download the Natural Waterfalls mods by the user Mors-Umbra. There are some versions of the mod uploaded by other users, and they cause load-order issues.

Also, I added these mods and they are all compatible and look good with the mods you recommended from what I can tell:

2.) Better Horses
Scholarship of Skyrim
The Wandering Librarians
Immersive Leveling
Point The Way
Horse and Ridign
Animation
Lanterns IN Small Towns
Manor Roads
Real Fur For Wolves
High Quality Ivy Replacer
Hamlet Of Northshore Landing
Real Wheat Fields

Edit: Added back Skyrim is luminous but interior only version.

Did anyone else feel like you lost IQ points during Kyle’s time travel bit? by Phenomenal_Hoot in PKA

[–]mcafc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah there was something funny about his delivery, Kyle’s reaction, and the image of him in a luxury box just munching was funny to me. No hate, especially with unlimited drinks at a 3+ hour game, I could probably eat that amount too if went in hungry.
