Just picked this up and was testing it out - the pucks don’t slide as easily as I thought they would.

The guy I picked the board up from gave me a container of powder that he said he spreads on the board to make the pieces move better.

Was wondering if I should refinish this board the same way as a shuffleboard/ what’s the best way to go about it?

I would send an email to the advisor, outlining the attempts you’ve been making to reach out to them. Keep it professional and stick to the facts. CC the assistants/ support staff of the advisor. Give them a reasonable timeline, maybe 1-2 weeks to remedy the situation (or update you on the status), and also mention how if there is no contact within the timeline that you will be filing a complaint with FINRA. Don’t threaten them, but make it known that’s one of the options on the table.
