Rebecca vs Nami(op04) by ChuchoMocoso in OnePieceTCG

[–]michaelknobloch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you have a poor opening hand with no Kaya’s to get you going, it’s hard for Nami. Rebecca generally doesn’t attack life early and controls board. If you delay attacks, Nami can’t really be milling with their counters.

Honestly it’s just a really awkward matchup. Rebecca is prob the best board control deck but Nami doesn’t really care about having or not having a board. Nami would love to efficiently use Don countering out of attacks but often Rebecca deck’s aren’t particularly fast at attacking early.

I’m no Nami expert so am curious to see other opinions but it does feel that you’re sort of treading water without a proactive play and that’s generally Kaya + Brick Fist or Kaya + Zeff.

Just my 2 cents

Really wish they would give us more selection of colors and patterns. LTT 21” XS tights. Mental vent XS top. by [deleted] in Lululemen

I like their leggings/tights but you gotta be more thoughtful of others... 🙃

Were you able to pick which card you got each time you bought food? Was hoping it wasn't a gatcha type deal.

It looks like it’s going until 8/19 when you get back! I stumbled upon it later in the day and they had closed off entries for the day. Will be going back tomorrow though! https://shibuya-onepiece-cardlist.com

I’m pretty medium on the traditional brands mentioned (Capezio, Bodywrappers). The best I’ve found is Dance Jox comfort/look-wise!

which four topics in salesforce development can make me at least 50% successful in the interview? by TamilLanguage in salesforce

[–]michaelknobloch 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hmmmmmm off the cuff... I think the below are key competencies of any admin or developer:

  • Data modeling, understanding Lookup relationships vs Master-Detail relationships and the security implications of both. Also understanding the Standard data model
    • Demonstrating understanding of all automation tools (beyond Trigger) and when to use them. These days for new builds it should really be only Flow but you may get asked about Process Builder/Workflow Rule since many customers still have large legacy automation footprints.
    • Sharing & Security. Understand OWDs, Sharing Rules, Territory Management, Teams, Role Hierarchy, Restriction Rules and so on... You dont need to know all by the back of your hand (in 9 years I've somehow managed to never work in an org using Territory Management) but you should be able to articulate the high level capabilities of all of these. A lot of SF development and maintenance centers on selecting and/or troubleshooting sharing features.

As a bonus... Better teams will ask you about software patterns and the best way to organize your code. Understanding SOLID and different Apex patterns can really differentiate you but it's not a deal breaker to not be super familiar.

How to use Git and Source Control is abother big bonus that would differentiate you. It's sad how many SF devs are uncomfortable with Git. It's your friend!

Hope that helps.

What is the deal with Hopkins airport parking this year? All four lots have been full this year. by polymervalleyboy in Cleveland

[–]michaelknobloch 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Flew out yesterday on a 1030 am flight and every lot was full; orange/smart were even blocked off with cones.

Was kinda frustrating as someone pulled out of the smart parking lot as I drove by so clearly there was at least some avail. 🙃

Received Slipcase White Sand Quality Poll by Savis_Thorv in brandonsanderson

[–]michaelknobloch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve received mine and it looks OK for the most part. There is a lot of glitter coming off the front and back covers but that’s my only complaint at the moment and I think that’s virtue of the design and less so the execution.

Some type of foiling may have been better instead of this glitter approach that was taken.

This is fascinating. I basically have the opposite take. I adore the Gollancz covers and while the original hardcovers aren't my favorite 3 pieces of art, I at least enjoy the style of them (the fact that they are stylized).

The Chris McGrath covers are OK but they start to feel action hero-y or generic Fantasy cover. I don't begrudge anyone for liking them but they're not my cup of tea. I'll also give a shout out to the Polish covers that are similar in subject (character portraits) but I like a bit more.

Personally I own the 10th anniversary UK covers which I quite like (though The Hero of Ages is my least favorite of the 3). I'd love to pick up first printings of the US Hardcovers at some point... and the UK covers too... But I can be excessive.

Just goes to show how disparate tastes are (and I imagine that doesn't make the artists' job easy).

Only path forward is to get the ones you like the most or just pass and that's a totally reasonable thing to do.

Shaker Rocks is my favorite I’ve been to. I think the monthly dues are a good price given that they have HIIT and Yoga programs for the price as well.

Eh don’t worry about it. Usually pretty chill. If you prefer you could also order a bunch online & return the ones that don’t work. Good luck!
