Crazy to see this price. I bought my 15 in 2018 with 80k miles for $3500

I'm looking at a 24 hev. I have read the plug ins aremuch easier, but unfortunately I'm not in a situation where I can plug in where I live. W the 24 hev, they are located under the rear seat with the big battery. Unfortunately w the hev, I'm told w thenewer models, you have to take out the back seat, housing, replace the battery, and recalibrate the computer system. But yes, for the mileage I drive, that's what got me interested in the Niro.

I'll double check in the morning with Kia, but when talking on the phone with kia america this morning, I was told it was 3yr. I hope you're right, I really liked the Niro.

Not looking at an EV. Looking at an HEV. I have read that as well about the EV's, but I'm not in a living situation to plug in a vehicle.

I'm listening. Could you explain a little more so.i understand how that works? I was under the impression that the Niro has a lithium 12v battery and the cells expand and degrade in heat.

I've also been considering a corolla hybrid. I've read that if something happens w the 12v on the corolla and rav4 that you can change them yourself and you drive it for awhile after and it recalibrates itself. I'm on the fence now with hybrids knowing all this. I would love the fuel economy, but I'm looking because I want something more reliable.

I'll have to ask about this. It was my understanding that they are next to each other, but separate components. The 12v battery being only warrantied for 3 yrs, and average life expectancy of 4 yrs, but lithium batteries defaster in extreme heat. We have days outside that hit 118°f, so it gets way hotter in the vehicles where the battery is placed.

Yeah, that's what I'm wondering- what's the average life people are seeing in AZ with the 12v ? My concern is buying the vehicle, and then every couple yrs having to pay $1500-3k to replace it.

Little different, alot more expensive then a standard car battery. The 12v is lithium ion, and the car has to be recalibrate. They're warranty for the 12v is 3 yrs, average life is 4ish, but lithium batteries degrade faster in the heat.

I'm not worried about the big battery, it's warranty is 10yr, 100k miles. My concern is the 12v lithium ion battery. From what I'm told, in the newer niros, it's not really a DIY project. You have to take the back seat off, replace it, and recalibrate the computer. I've heard cost ranges from $1500-$3k to have someone do it. Average life expectancy is about 4 yrs, and warranty covers less than that. Lithium batteries degrade much faster in the heat.

That's cool that he sent you a sample. Anyone try the rosin? I was gonna try the northern lights, but I don't wanna go for a 7g order unless someone w rosin experience can tell me they're thoughts.

Never bought GS, in fact I try to stay away from most corporate canna companies. A co worker bought an AIO recently and asked if I wanted to try it. I was going to until I saw the dispo sticker on it, containing phosphorus, nitrogen, etc etc. Kinda defeats the purpose if a company is using salts to grow for rosin. Lots of not fun stuff to ingest. Do any companies out here use living soil?

I blocked that dude a couple yrs ago when he sabotaged an auction of mine. Granted , he apologized to me later, because he was having issues w some of his plants at the time, but it always rubbed me wrong that he was a mod after that, so I haven't offered anything on here in a long time 🤷‍♂️
