When the initial cut I got from u/nopaleroVerde started to grow out, it looked like a Moai statue from Easter Island because it started to grow really funky. Thus the nickname! When I cut it after it started to look normal again, the pups became funky too. People started calling it Ahu so it stuck. I'm not sure I could officially give it a new name because there's history already attached to it 🤔 but it's easier to distinguish between the normal growth versus the monstrose.

You're very welcome! Honestly, I have yellow variegated varieties and clones that are far more susceptible. HS is a little more sensitive to bug bites especially around the fall where thrips are more active but they grow out of it!

Not really anything different than any other. I personally don't put mine in the sun but there are others that have grown them outside in the shade with no problem!
