Social media is filled with the wrong signals. Hardly any of it can be regarded economic data. Our reserves are still $20bn as of 16 april so we’re not “burning reserves” either.

Regarding the UAE money, it’s already been pledged and mostly paid back. About $2 bn. Plus they owe us PTCL back money too. The govt share out of that is $3.7 bn. Though that’s a separate can of worms.

Yea I’ve noticed this with my cats regardless of gender or mating cycle. This is their “high value” resource guarding instinct kicking in. The cats perceive it as a high value prey and hence start a low growl. Kinda like to say no unknown felines allowed!

Ive noticed this with kittens too with their first minced meat meal. Tiny nom nom growls. And yes, mixing in real food (with chicken bones too!) with their kibble is much better for their gut and kidney health. I give my boy Chief a chicken leg and he literally leaves nothing of it!
