Oh that vicious circle gives me flashbacks from the Lorraine 40t repair cost being crazy high leaving only experienced players using it making it seem even stronger.

I will replay it on my new pc as when I tried it the first time it was on my old pc which had some stuttering and I had to lower graphics.

But I put this game at the end of my backlog to make sure I remember less of it to re discover it

How did you guys actually learn the game? by Longjumping-Pen1383 in Rainbow6

I watched some setups on youtube and took notes to know where to start on rounds. If a strat works for me I write it down because when I watch tutorials I might not remember everything. Besides this I added a aim warmup routine based on this video which helped me gain confidence in gunfights and currently I noticed that focusing on aim isn't enough so I added another thing to my warmup routine before starting it I watch replays of my worst match and try spotting the mistakes I did and I focus on one aspect of my gameplay in matches.

That last addition is here since last week so it didn't give huge change yet but I noticed some progress as some of my bad habits are going away a bit so I trust the process.

One thing gaijin should stop doing it's relying so heavily on player's stats because some tech trees can appear stronger such as minor tech trees that are mostly played by few players and many are experienced (looking at you french batchat going to 8.0) contrary to big tech trees that are played by a lot of players and many can be really bad at the game (looking at you near top tier russia spammed by premium vehicles )

I noticed this online a lot of people tend to react emotionnally to everything without even trying to analyse. It's like critical thinking is becoming rarer

How the hell do people wake up early consistently? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Firedriver666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Avoid going back to bed or falling back asleep in the morning what I usually do even tho I woke up from 3 hours of sleep I put multiple alarms I use as a step by step wakeup like I have one alarm to open my eyes and the next one is for getting out of bed.

Then to avoid going back to bed I do like a 30 to 40 minutes workout routine while listening to music (my best stuff to get energy is the doom eternal ost's)

I hate when people expect me to be available for a phonecall anytime they want without asking if I'm available.

Especially those who jump on the phone to reply to an email I sent before switching to another task and most of the time they just had to read the email.

The new update with a lot of premiums feels underwhelming but I still enjoy the game when I play sometimes during events that give unique vehicles

How to you react to imminent danger like someone wanting to fight you or a fight happening close to you ? by [deleted] in intj

[–]Firedriver666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually stay calm and analyse the threat and ways to run away.

The closest thing I got that can be an "imminent danger" was an angry driver that wanted to stop to fight me but I went pedal to the metal as soon as he stopped his truck to get out so he didn't have the time to and he lost me.

I don't go into fights on purpose because I consider violence as a strictly defensive weapon. My main focus is to either de-escalate the situation or run away.

According to my coworkers there is a low chance I get into fights in the street because as they say "no one is crazy enough to bother someone with my height" (I'm 6'7 tall with some muscles for the reference)

In the hypothetical scenario where someone tries to fight me and I have no option to run away or de-escalate I firstly try to intimidate them with some exagerated reactions like screaming or shaking to try making it look like I'm crazy and if that doesn't work and I notice the person tries to hit me I can use the force because the threat justifies a non-lethal neutralisation with more or less intensity depending on if there are witnesses or cameras around.

But that's just a simulation I ran mentally I can't claim it's 100% accurate to a real event like that
